Hello, and thank you for contacting with your question.

The best thing to do is to check out page for the most important questions to ask your movers. However, most companies do not ask for a deposit when booking the move. This could be a red flag when dealing with interstate movers.

If you want to look for a new interstate mover I suggest doing plenty of research and consider all of your needs in the process. Then you can use our service to put you in contact with a new company.

Thank you for visiting with your question. Good luck with your move!

Moving Tips & Guides
Saving Money While Moving
Moving can be expensive, but with some tricks up your sleeve you might save a few bucks. Reuse packing material or use alternative materials that you already have like towels and t-shirts for packing up fragile items. Move during the off-seasons of fall and winter. Write off some of your relocating expenses. Pack your own stuff – you won’t spend money on a service and you’ll be sure you packed everything. Downsizing your stuff will also help save you money. Most shipping companies charge by weig
Tips for Moving to a City
Living in a big city can be overwhelming, and moving to one can be downright stressful, especially if you have never experienced all of the sights, sounds, and smells that a big city has to offer on a daily basis. If you know a little bit of what to expect before you move though, it won't be so bad. Preparing yourself for adjusting to big city life and putting yourself in an urban state of mind will help you to become accustomed to the changes when you move.
Keep your movers happy
There are some things you simply shouldn’t say to your movers on moving day. Your movers are sometimes hired laborers who have little to do with the moving company so complaining about other aspects of the move will not help you. Keep this in mind when dealing with them. Also, be sure to give them plenty of space, but still supervise and direct them as needed. Happy movers are more likely to do a better job.
