Hello, and thank you for contacting Movers.com with your question.

The best thing to do is to check out page for the most important questions to ask your movers. However, most companies do not ask for a deposit when booking the move. This could be a red flag when dealing with interstate movers.

If you want to look for a new interstate mover I suggest doing plenty of research and consider all of your needs in the process. Then you can use our service to put you in contact with a new company.

Thank you for visiting Movers.com with your question. Good luck with your move!

Common Company Policies
If you’ll be using their packing services make sure that they do an in-house survey. It will give them a better idea of what you’ll be moving and you can ask them more questions.
