Hello, and thank you for visiting Movers.com! If you need to move just one item, you would require the services of small movers.

Small movers
Small movers are companies that specialize in transporting loads that are smaller than average -- usually under 2,000 pounds. Many small movers will even relocate just one item... for example: a table, couch, or in your case, a plant.

Moving Tips & Guides
Tips for Moving in the Summer
Typically the most popular season of the year to move, the summer is when most moving companies get inundated with appointments from people looking to relocate during a laid-back time of the year when schools are out and the weather is nice. Of course, as with any move, moving during the summer can have its challenges and difficulties, so familiarizing yourself with them can help you become better prepared.
Ask for replacement value ...
Moving companies are required by law to insure your items, but they only need to pay 60 cents per pound of damaged property in the free insurance plan. In order to have true peace of mind while moving, you need to purchase insurance that offers replacement value protection. This allows you to calculate the true value of your items and have the moving company cover that value if the item is damaged or lost.
Be Wary of Rogue Movers
There are numerous unlicensed and unregistered moving companies waiting to scam customers. If a company offers an unusually low estimate, asks for a large cash deposit and an unmarked truck or rental truck, they may be unregistered or unlicensed. A common scam from these companies is low-balling the estimate and then demanding a greater amount when they show up, if the customer disputes the amount, the company will often hold the customers’ items hostage until they’re paid.
