Spotted: A Moving Truck at the White House
It's almost that time some are rejoicing and some are dreading. In just two short weeks the Obamas will be fully moved out of the White House and The Trumps will be moving in--well, one of them.
A moving truck from Maryland-based movers, Moving Masters Inc. was spotted outside the White House on Wednesday, likely being loaded up to head over to the nine-bedroom, $5.3 million mansion
in the Kalorama neighborhood of the nation's capital.
Another staple of the White House that was recently removed--a swing set that had been installed at the beginning of President Obama's first term when Malia and Sasha were 10 and 7 respectively, was donated to a local organization in need. It was first offered to the Trumps, but Melania and Baron, 10, will not be moving to Washington immediately
The big day
January 20th is going to be a hectic moving day. The last of the outgoing president and first family's belongings will be removed by truck on the south lawn facing south. At the same time a truck facing north on the east side of the south grounds will be delivering items for the incoming president. According to former White House chief usher Stephen Rochon, "it's more like organized chaos."
