Moving Tips & Guides
Background Checks on Your Moving ...
Be sure to find out if the company you’re interested in hiring is reputable by performing your own background check. Search for reviews from previous customers, search for the company on the Better Business Bureau’s website and be sure to ask for references from previous customers. Make sure you feel completely comfortable with the moving company you choose before entrusting them with all your belongings.
The Meaning of US DOT Numbers
US DOT numbers are an important piece of information that will let you in on a moving company’s prior history and let you know where the company is legally allowed to operate, as well as if they company is legitimate and reputable. These numbers are important and can help you in your decision of whether or not to hire a moving company.
Know what kind of move you want ...
If you want an accurate estimate from a moving company, you should have a good idea about what kind of moving services you need. Do you need full service movers? How far is your destination? Do you need packing services? Any specialty items in your shipment? Know this beforehand in order to choose the right field of movers.
Be Clear About Your Delivery Date
Read the fine print of your contract. Was your delivery date firmly agreed upon in writing? Most moving companies will offer up a delivery window in case anything causes a slight delay when shipping. If you need your goods delivered by a particular day, it may end up costing you more money, so be sure to discuss this with your moving company before you sign anything.
Keep Kids and Pets Out of Movers’ ...
For everyone’s safety, make sure your children and furry friends are occupied and out of the movers’ path.

Xtreme Movers
I have moved a lot in my life because of the nature of my job. So, I knew what to expect from Xtreme movers when I booked them for my move. But these guys surprised me in all possible ways, obviously for the good reasons. The quote which I got from Marsha was highly precise and more than just reasonable. Movers showed up on time at the move day, packed the entire house and loaded everything in record time. Everything was nicely wrapped and boxed and double checked for the errors. The transition was made before the allotted time and nothing was damaged or broken during the entire process. Most importantly the final bill was identical with the quoted price. I guess there was nothing left to ask for.
