Moving Tips & Guides
What is the Bill of Lading?
During the moving process, there is likely to be a lot of paperwork for you to read, fill out, and sign. Perhaps the most important document is the bill of lading. The bill of lading serves as the contract between you and your mover and lays out all of the terms and conditions of the move.
Moving with Kids
Moving is already difficult, and so are children. But imagine the difficulty that arises when you combine the two. Moving with young children can be extremely hard, especially with everything else that is going on in your life around your impending moving day. Here’s a guide on how to make moving with children easier.
Tips on How to Tip Your Movers
Many people are often unsure of what to do when it comes to tipping movers, but there are no definitive rules. Simply put, since you are already spending a lot of money on the move, movers don't expect to be tipped. At the same time, if you want to reward your movers for a job well done, feel free to give them a little extra money. The choice is entirely up to you.
Weight Requirements for Small Moves
The great thing about small moving companies is that they do not hold you to a minimum of 2,000 pounds of freight like most large-scale commercial companies. However, some of these small movers do have a weight requirement of a minimum of 100 pounds. Always ask if you aren’t sure.
Packing Materials Overview
When you begin packing you’re going to encounter a lot of resources and packing materials that will come in handy throughout the packing process, many of them things that you might not have known even existed before you began packing. This guide is an overview of the various kinds of packing materials you’ll come across during the packing process and how they can be used.

American Quality Movers
I am running short of words to praise them. I had a very tight budget and deadline was a big concern for the move. I was desperately looking to find an affordable and reliable moving company and that time my Uncle suggested their name to me. I hired them for the move and they delivered me the best move of my life. I am sure that the movers are highly trained and extremely committed. Thanks a ton to American quality movers for the great move.

Moving to New Jersey?

A one-of-a-kind state with its own unique personality and attitude, New Jersey is located directly in between two of the nation’s largest metropolitan areas, yet manages to stand alone as an individual state in its own right, with its own culture, tastes and experiences.

With a world-famous shoreline that has been featured in countless television shows and movies with a music scene that has produced such worldwide hit-makers as Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi, New Jersey manages to take the best influences of its neighbors, New York and Philadelphia, and add them to its own diverse blend of culture.

Full of history, and scenic landscapes that stretch from the far northwest corner of the state and the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, to the bottom southeast corner of the state and the Atlantic coast, New Jersey has a lot to offer no matter where you end up.
