Get an In-House Estimate
While getting quotes online is a time saver, you should always insist on an in-house estimate before committing to a moving company. The movers need to assess the size and weight of your items in order to determine an accurate price.
Planning a Long Distance Move
A long distance move is defined by any move that takes you more than 50-100 miles from your old home. With a definition that is this broad, it can be used to describe a move that takes you all the way to the other side of the country, or a move that takes you to the other side of the state. But the one thing that all long distance moves have in common is that they require careful planning, and a lot of it.
Moving with Kids
Moving is already difficult, and so are children. But imagine the difficulty that arises when you combine the two. Moving with young children can be extremely hard, especially with everything else that is going on in your life around your impending moving day. Here’s a guide on how to make moving with children easier.
Moving Licensure, Insurance and ...
Every reputable and reliable moving company will be required to have certain types of licensure and insurance in order to operate. This guide will help you familiarize yourself with these regulations so you can learn all about the proper licensure and insurance required of moving companies by the federal government.
Types of Moving Estimates
A moving estimate is one of the first things you will receive from a prospective moving company and one of the first steps in the moving process. There are several different kinds of moving estimates that you may encounter during your search for a moving company, so it’s important that you become acquainted with their differences, and which one is best for you.

Everything went great
Frontier Van Lines LLC
I moved a few days ago. Everything is here with me in one piece. I moved with Frontier Van Lines. My biggest concern was that I had a lot of miscellaneous items that were scattered throughout my house in cupboard cabinets and dressers. I had no idea how many boxes I would fill up. Frontier Van Lines made an estimate for me. They were not far off! And the best thing was that they allowed me to update the amount of boxes a few days before my move, so when I was packing everything I had a better idea of how many it was going to be. I called in to update the amount of boxes and they changed it on the contract. It wasn't a big difference and the price didn't change much either, but I was still happy I at least had the option to change that number. So, that was great. Everything else went great too. I would totally recommend this company.

The movers were informative and ...
Ace Movers
They were prompt, they called when they thought they were going to be late ... They moved things quickly, they were very informative about what they could and could not move, what would and would not be covered under their insurance. They were very focused on their work and they were very communicative.
