Scam- large hidden fees- awful ...

Attn: All Military Police Fire or civil servants BEWARE! Was told $1700 including everything! Told me that includes blankets and packaging! We called the company multiple times 5x + 1 month prior to even giving them the deposit 3 months before move spoke Phylis who is taught per Erika (Receptionist claiming Supervisor) not to mention the OD Fee. I’m a disabled veteran, 1 month before deciding on this National Moving and storage in Hollywood FL, i was reassured don’t worry about having more stuff specifically ask if there are any hidden charges for overages and told there company doesn’t work like that. (knowing that when the come to give this estimate they Charge $1500.00 of an overage fee not including the $1000+ they charge 250sqf) I asked her about packaging she advised me everything would be wrap using blankets and bubble wrap. About 3 weeks later and speaking with moving companies all advising me be careful for different up charges I spoke with Phillis again, explained everything away. Advised her we are going to have more stuff. I explained I was worried about big charges just kept repeating no problem we will get you an estimate when you’re there I paid the deposit. About a 2 weeks later, and almost 2 months before spoke to another rep and told them again we had more items and once again assured DONT worry! Day of move!! Drivers show up! Advise us we are 250sq over the estimate! Now they assess a $1500 fee for overage OD fee a $1000 fee for the extra sq ft, $700.00 to bubble wrap,extra gas fee $500.00. What happened to being told $1700.00 and everything would be fine to then charging me $5200.00 I called asking for a supervisor and got Erika. She advised me there nothing I can do, i needed to work it out with driver. It gets better Driver tells me I’ll discount if you take care of Me wink wink!!! So he’d discount it $700 but I have to pay him $400.00 or he takes it out of profit. Call back Erika the supervisor, tell her about the amazing deal the driver offered me i requested the pull all my calls, as I do business the correct way, just kept repeating herself basically to bad for me. Moving across country what am I to do now, can’t get another company in 1 day, before move out date. They really know how to operate this scam!! They are all involved. Spoke to Erika the Supervisor who by the way is a receptionist, finally offer to take of the 750.00 hours later the big supervisor decided to not review calls just nicely will take off the 750 additional Now i get an email requesting 70% to schedule drop off. Well i call to see if the additional $750.00 was taken off from Fake Supervisor Erika, states she gave me the discount look at the contract. I reminded her she told me to go to driver reminded her about the scam discount.
