Smooth and affordable service
My job took me to the Big Apple and I didn't have time to be checking the credentials of moving companies. I had to choose based solely on their quotes and some reviews that I read on the Internet. This company did a fine job. The movers packed, loaded and unloaded. I technically didn't have anything to do. I could say good affordable service is what I got from them. I have just one tiny complaint and it's that the delivery was done four days after the scheduled date and I feel the company should have informed me about this.

They were really bad
A lot of my stuff got lost and damaged. I tried to file a complaint, but they are mostly unresponsive to my claims and it is of no use. I am very disappointed and will not be recommending this company to anyone, nor will I use them again.

Good service but incorrect estimate
The service was good and they delivered all my stuff on time. They wrapped and packed everything so I don't have any breaks or damages. The only problem was their inaccurate estimate. The guy gave me the estimate on the phone and when it came time to pick up my things they increased the charges. I had to argue with them. Apart from the high pricing, everything went well.

Pleasant Moving Experience
The friendly and efficient crew of this company was able to deliver all of their promises to give me a stress-free move. I was impressed at the way they stared working from the time they stepped into my home to pack and load my belongings and how friendly and careful they were with my stuff to get the job done in the right time. However one thing was lacking and that is a small part of my dresser is damaged and when I try to reach them by sending an email regarding the broken dresser, none of them responded.

priority 1 movers aka Direct Van Lines
Movers called one day prior to move to say they would arrive between 5-7 pm the next day, after I specifically requested early morning delivery. They were a "no show" on the stated date, no answer to my repeated calls. I had everything packed away so I slept on my mattress on the floor and had to unpack boxes to find a pillow etc. 9:30 PM that evening they called to say that the truck broke down and they would be there first thing in the morning. Again, no show between 8 AM and 10 AM as spoken. Finally showed up at 3:30 PM, and loaded me up. I gave them a personal check for partial balance as stated in signed contract. 2 days later they called to say they couldn't cash the check, and if I wanted my furniture delivered. They arrived and immediately added on additional fee due to the stairs going into the house. Had to go to the bank and hand over money before they brought in furniture. On top of this multiple pieces of furniture with significant damage, and the truck had leaked water onto my goods while in storage.

AWFUL
*** ALSO: they left an antique table at our new house, which DOES NOT BELONG TO US.. so if you're looking for your missing table, we have it in Longmont, Colorado! We told the guy it wasn't ours, but he refused to put it back on the truck because it was "broken," thus presumably the actual owner doesn't want it. But perhaps this table was your grandmother's and you actually want it. I've mentioned this to customer support at least 4-5 times, and not ONCE has it been something in their records. Each and every time, it seemed to be completely new information to them.
Oh, one last thing: the guy who picked up our stuff offered to fudge the numbers in our favor, if we gave him a "cash tip". Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.' data-expanded="false">
They lost my wedding dress. Lost. my. wedding. dress. On my numerous phone calls with Priority 1 Moving's customer support, I got the sense that nobody was even looking for it. It's easier for them to pay the $0.69 / pound which their basic insurance supports, than to do the hard work of tracking down a lost item. So, If anybody has discovered a large garment box (I can't remember the font or wording on the box, but inside is a custom made wedding dress with a tag reading "Ghost Tailor") .... I desperately, dearly want it back. *** ALSO: they left an antique table at our new house, which DOES NOT BELONG TO US.. so if you're looking for your missing table, we have it in Longmont, Colorado! Terrible moving experience
My recent move was like something from a nightmare. It all started when the movers picked up my furniture on June 13th. Fast forward to five days later and I still had not received my furniture at my new home. I called them multiple times to no avail, and no one even returned my calls until June 23rd. At that time, they told me that they could not track m furniture and had no idea where it was. It was then that I got the highway patrol involved, and only then would they cooperate. Finally, a whole 22 days later, I received my belongings and three pieces of furniture were damaged.
