Just reaching your new home will not end the relocation job. There are still many endless hours of unpacking and redecorating the items. Once you move into your new home, replace the batteries in the smoke alarms and ensure that they are working well. Family safety should be your first priority. You need to provide protection against potential fires, carbon monoxide poisoning, and break-ins. Check your smoke detector. Investigate the floor plan of the house and device an emergency escape plan.
Install a carbon monoxide detector to protect yourself from poisons that may cause flu-like symptoms such as headache, fatigue, shortness of breath, nausea, and dizziness.
