The Easy Way to Go About Packing Bedding Yourself

Many people performing a do-it-yourself move tend to use their bedding items as cushioning for some of their other belongings. However, if you don't want them to get dirty or damaged, you'll need to pack them in their own boxes. What You'll Need
Unlike many of the other items you have in your home, packing your bedding (blankets, pillows, sheets, comforters, and towels) is pretty easy. How To Pack Bedding Once you have the proper packing materials assembled, you can get started on packing up your bedding. Prepare by lining the bottom and sides of a box with packing paper. There is no need to create extra cushioning for your bedding, and doing so will just take up valuable space. A single layer will prevent the items from getting soiled during the move. You should always place the heaviest and largest items, like comforters and quilts, on the bottom of the box. As you put each item in the box, press down on it to remove air. This will compress the bedding and allow you to fit more into each box. Continue to fill each box with your remaining pillows, blankets, sheets, and towels. When you have filled the box, put an additional sheet of packing paper on the top. Then, close the flaps and seal the box shut with tape. Finally, label the box with the contents and destination, and your bedding will be ready to make the trip to your new home.
