However, with the right amount of planning, preparation and help from friends, families or neighbors, it is possible to move it on your own so you'll still be able to enjoy it for years to come.

Keep these things in mind when moving it yourself:
- Be mindful of how you're going to drain the water from the basin. Hundreds of gallons of water will need to go somewhere, and you'll want to avoid a flash flood situation in your backyard if you don't do it gradually.
- You're going to need at least four people.
- You'll need tow straps, a piece of 4x4 lumber, two four-wheel furniture dollies and an appliance dolly which you can obtain from any moving supply outlet, home improvement store or possibly rent from moving companies.
- For a move along a flat surface, the furniture dollies will work best. If your move involves stairs, the appliance dolly is best but make sure you have a tow strap as well.
