Hello, and thank you for visiting Movers.com!

Moving a mobile home will require the services of mobile home movers-companies that specialize in the transport of mobile homes. In order to get an accurate estimate for relocating your mobile home, you will have to contact one of these companies for a quote.

Common mobile home moving costs
  • Preparing the mobile home. Before you can relocate the mobile home, you have to prepare it for transport. It has to be lifted off the ground to install the axles to tow it, all windows and doors must be secured, and your utilities must be disconnected. This can all cost up to $1,000.
  • Transporting the mobile home. To move your mobile home, you will have to hire movers to load it onto a flat bed truck and drive it to your destination. While the price will depend on the company you choose, most mobile home movers charge between $5 and $15 a mile depending on the size of your home. You will also need a permit to relocate your mobile home, which your movers may handle for you for a fee.
  • After you arrive. Once your mobile home is delivered, you will have to prepare the surface where you wish to place the home. You may have to level the ground, cut down trees, or put down blocks to attach the home. This process can cost between $1,500 to $4,500.
