Thanks so much for visiting Movers.com!

Giving you a specific price in regards to your move will generally be on a case-by-case basis depending on which moving service you choose. While we at Movers.com cannot give you an exact quote, you can get started in your moving process by filling out our simple online form for free quotes from numerous reputable moving services in your area.

What type of move do I have?

For only a few items, your move is considered a "small move," or basically any move that is under a certain weight limit. For the most part, small moves are less than 2,000 pounds. These moves do not require as much labor or materials as standard moves, and therefore will cost much less in the long run.

You could also look into having the smaller items, like your clothes and Wii, shipped via parcel mail. Sometimes, this can save you money depending on the price of the carrier.

Some tips for hiring your moving service:

Make sure you get at least three estimates before committing to hiring any particular company, not only for the best deal financially, but also to make sure the company you're considering is reputable. Check back to our guides on moving scams and common mistakes to avoid.

Be sure to plan ahead. Although you are only moving a few items, moving companies still require as much notice as possible to schedule your move accordingly.
