STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!! Steer clear unless you enjoy your property damaged and then being avoided afterward. As I write this review I'm going on 3 days of calling West Coast following up on the damage to my baby grand. Every time the manager "is out and will call me back", "the owner is on vacation", etc. Just the most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced!!! I used their service to deliver a baby grand piano from Fairview,OR to Vancouver,WA. My wife arranged the pickup and I took the afternoon off from work to be present for the delivery. 2 guys showed up and propped the baby grand onto a tiny dolley which they proceeded to roll up to the first step of my concrete walkway and tilt the piano back to get the front tires of the dolley up on the first step. You can guess what happened next. The piano slid off the dolley and hit the concrete hard with the left corner of the keyboard and top lid. I watched in horror as they mangled the corner of the piano by scooting it back and forth on the concrete to get it back onto the cart. They were super apologetic and said not to worry because they "would take it back to their shop and fix it for me". Why thank you kind sirs, I appreciate the offer!!! That's exactly what anyone does in an accident. You just entrust the keys to your car to a stranger that rear-ended you so he can drive it home and "fix it for you". No biggie, right?????!!! The 2 movers called their manager and I overheard him tell them to "bring the piano back to the shop". He wouldn't talk to me but instructed the employee to tell me that the owner would call me the next day after he got back from vacation. Next day it was crickets so I called the office number to follow up. A receptionist (Taylor?) told me that the manager was in the field and she would pass on the message and have him call me back before the end of the day. No call back. Today it was the same story. I am at my wit's end right now as I paid several thousand dollars for this sensitive piece of equipment that was mangled in front of my eyes by a so-called professional piano moving service. They wont give me the name of their insurance company or anyone in charge. This is the worst company you can possibly deal with. stay away!!! stay away!!! stay away!!! stay away!!! stay away!!! stay away!!! I am starting to look into litigation proceedings if I don't receive a callback by tomorrow. Again stay away unless you want a similar experience!! Read more
