Easter is such a happy time of year that you may feel the urge to decorate, even if you aren't having any kind of celebration in your home. In addition to its religious implications, the holiday signifies the arrival of spring and invites you to decorate your home in bright and sunny tones. Color Scheme
As mentioned above, Easter is a holiday that carries almost as many seasonal connotations as it does devotional. Generally, we see pastel colors used in much more abundance: baby blues, pinks, etc. However, the introduction of any bright yellows, blues, or greens is seasonally appropriate and will give your home a warm and festive feel.
Crafts
Many of the prevalent secular symbols of this holiday translate into excellent craft ideas. Especially if you have children (or if you are just young at heart), making Easter Bunnies, eggs, and chicks can make for a fun afternoon and lovely little decorations for your home.
