Q: Tell us a little bit about your company, how you began, and how long you have been operating.

A: ES Delivery Services, LLC is owned by Shirley and Eden Antoine. We have been in business for about a year and have built a good reputation in providing delivery and moving services in a timely basis.We offer on-call and scheduled delivery and can accommodate our customer's moving needs: residential, small office and apartment.

Q: What's your favorite thing about working in the moving industry?

A: Moving can be very stressful. We like the fact that we can take some of the pressure off by taking care of the biggest part. We can handle packaging and take apart and put together their furniture.

Q: What's the most common mistake that people should avoid when they're moving or planning a move?

A: How a person packs is very important. It minimizes risk of damages to their precious possessions. Boxes should be appropriately labeled. This helps in making sure the boxes are put in the right room, eliminating some stress when unpacking.

Q: Describe your most memorable moving experience, either as an employee or during one of your own personal moves.

A: We don't personally have a memorable experience with moving since we've always done it ourselves. That is why my husband and I started this company to help others have a better experience.

Q: What's the most important piece of wisdom you can lend to people who are planning a move?

A: While I would like to get picked for the job, it's good for the customer to shop around. A cheaper price does not mean better service. The same for a more expensive package - it does not mean better service. The customer should ask all the right questions to ensure that the company is a legitimate moving company. The right company will make sure your items are well taken care of or have the means to handle any complaints.

Q: What does your company have to offer customers that they won't get with any other moving company?

A: My husband has over 15 years experience in providing delivery services for other companies and moving household goods of friends and relatives. What we feel makes us different is the personal attention we provide all of our potential customers. The attention we provide the customer shows in how we treat their personal items.

Q: What is the strangest moving request you've ever received from a customer?

A: We've recently had a customer who did not want us to move them because the items were already moved by another company. The customer only wanted us to unload the truck, move the items to the apartment and assemble the furniture.
