ARE THEY INSURED??? NO!!
LONG read, but BUYER BEWARE!! This company provided some hard working men to move us into our new home. The movers themselves get 5 stars! But, they ended up damaging the corner of one of my brand new wall (which I understand happens). The team lead told me they ARE insured and to reach out to the company to get a repair lined up. Well, that is when things went from good to not good, to bad and worse. What a joke their customer service is! I called and sent the pictures as requested, and was told someone would come repair the wall. It was the holiday season so it took some time to get a repair lined up. I totally understood. After several weeks of getting the run around, they decided they did not have a repair company to fix the "type of damage" that was caused by their movers and offered a refund of $50, so we can fix it on our own. I explained we just moved into a brand new home and we want it repaired. I also said it would likely cost us more that $50. They responded saying it actually will only cost us $28.50/hour for a professional, and the materials cost was about $5-$7. So I said then have them come fix it and was told "the repair co. is not available for the foreseeable future". I told them I'd be happy to wait or if they'd refund $75, I'd be okay with that. They countered with 10% of our move cost ($63.80). I did NOT agree with this! Then a pandemic happened and a few more months went by. I reached out asking if they've secured someone to fix the damage. THEN, they just refunded the 10% (WHICH I DID NOT AGREE TO) and said they'd get some bids on the work that needed to be done and forward the quotes to me. The ONE quote I got from them was a price tag of $230 and a recommendation to go through my homeowners insurance!! OMG! I am so sick to my stomach, what a joke of a company and a joke of customer service. They should be ASHAMED of their company and making things right!!
