I personally would not recommend and will never use Again. Broke very expensive furnitures and says the Shaggy it was me.

Awful experience

Let me begin by saying that I moved from an apt to a house no stairs there was an elevator which was shut down for my use during the move. Chaplin quoted me the 575 with 3 guys to move prior to me signing the contract. When I signed he then told me about the $110 fee for going over the 5 hr minimum. He then proceeded to say that we will go over the 5hrs in the apartment. I had a hard time with that being that I chose them because of the quoted price and that everything was going to be packed and ready to move into the truck. All they needed to do was wrap the big pieces of furniture. Long story short we went over the 5 hours just in the apt and then some. Which resulted in the extra 1,185. And let me add that it was really two guys, one moving the boxes that complained about his back the whole time and the other wrapping and moving the big furniture who also cursed and complained the whole day. This was not the only issue, they were unprofessional in their behavior and in the method in which they packed my belongs into the truck. They man handled my boxes and the furniture which resulted in damage. The end result is that my leather sofas have cuts in them and a slice as if it was done with a sharp object. One of the movers dropped my dinning cabinet when moving it to the truck and I saw it, when I brought this to the owners attention he said he questioned his guy and that he told him he did not drop anything. My cabinet has a huge chuck of wood chipped off of the top corner. Several of my boxes that were marked as glass and packaged with bubble wrap and blankets within were completely damaged. I now have half a set of dishware because most of my plates and serving plates were broken. I called Steve the owner and sent him pictures of the damaged furniture the next day. He responded that he would come up with someone to repair the damage. That was a month ago and I reached out to him twice. I made a bad decision going with this company over a more highly qualified company all because I tried to save some money. The other quotes were coming in at $1200 to $1500. I would never recommend this mover and I hope that anyone reading this makes the right decision and go with a professional moving company and not Chaplin movers which is a joke of a moving company. Till this day I regret making that decision, it's a hard lesson to learn.
