Chase Moving Company

I was charged a different amount than ...

The move was okay, but ... When it came time to [make] the payment, I mean it was a scam the way they initially advertised and what I ended up paying. So I wasn't happy about that at all. ...They quoted something different ... They added extra mileage and they added all the different things to get me to pay more than what we initially agreed upon.

I paid more than the estimate and the ...

I was really not happy with them, because the estimate that they gave me -- which was low -- like $375 and they actually charged me $540 ... And the two movers that they sent were not really, obviously regular movers. It was an older gentleman and his friend (his girlfriend's son or something). So they weren't even people who work for the company normally, he told me they fill in when someone called in. So it was very slow, it took them a long time and they charged me a lot of money.

I had a horrible experience with this ...

[It] was the worst experience in my life. ...They charged me more than we discussed over the phone. ...They left all the books which should be in the bedroom in the dining room. ...I tried to reach [the] manager and he didn't respond. It was ridiculous.

The movers were good but the office ...

I wasn't happy with the moving process, in particular dealing with the personnel in the office, the manager and the people who answered the phone. Especially the manager, he wasn't actually professional, he wasn't nice. I talked to him a couple of times when the guys came with the truck and he wanted to hike up the number of the hours for no reason. ...When I talked to him he was rude actually on the phone. So I didn't like the way he was talking. The guys on the ground ... They were nice, they did the job, they didn't waste time. I'm happy with them. I am actually dissatisfied with the management team and the office people and I think they were not very transparent with the quotes.

Everything was fine.

They were fine. Everything worked fine. He moved me in a timely manner and everything was fine.

I ended up paying almost double what I ...

I would not use that company again. ...They quoted me one price ... After they took my furniture to the next location, then they increased it about almost 50 percent more. ...At the conclusion, when they were moving my things, then they rushed me along and said if we didn't get things loaded off the truck ... They would have to charge me more money.

BEWARE!

TERRIBLE!!! THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I was supposed to be moved btwn 1:30 an 4:30. I called and called, only to get excuse, no ETA and had the nerve to ask if they could do it the next day. I had to be out that day. I ended up having to rent a uhaul truck at 8pm and beg people to help. On top of that, they didn't give me my deposit back until 4 days later. This was 9/1/15. Do Not use them.

THIS COMPANY MOVED A FRIEND OF MINES AND DID AN GREAT JOB TO ME. I UDERSTOOD THE FACT THAT THE MOVERS HAVE BEEN WORKING ALL DAY AND WAS TIRED WHEN THEY GOT TO ME, BUT THAT DIDNT STOP THEM FROM MOVING ME OR MY THINGS. MY PRICE WAS GREAT THTEY WORKED WITH MY BUDGET AND WAS THERE TO HELP ALL THE WAY. I REALLY APPRECIATE CHASE MOVING COMPANY THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH

I WAS BEING EVICTED FROM MY HOME I HAD LITTLE TO NO TIME TO MOVE AND I LOOKED UP CHASE MOVING COMPANY AND DESPITE THEIR BAD REVIEWS I CONSIDERED GIVING THEM A CHANCE, GLAD I DID. THEY HELPED MAKE MY MOVE A LOT LESS DIFFICULT CONSIDERING MY SITUATION. THEY WERE AFFORDABLE AND REASONABLE WITH THEIR PRICES. THE MOVERS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND THEY FINISHED THE JOB QUICKER THAN WE BOTH EXPECTED. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUES

The workers were phenomenal but the ...

The workers were phenomenal, they were very polite and professional. However, the owner of the company was quite rude ... Wasn't very helpful at all ... The communication on the website did not match what he said and he was not willing to explain some of those things as far as insurance and cost and different things. ...He took the approach of explaining to me that I was incompetent by not reading it thoroughly, or stating that I should have understood what it meant.

They were the best, the very best!

I would definitely use this company again. They were very helpful, they were very conscious of my furniture. They were the best. I've not ever been treated like that before and it was really nice.

They were prompt and they were on time and they did what I needed to be done, and everything worked out.

There wasn't a lot of damage. I'm ...

I'm satisfied. But they weren't very good with giving me a definite price, they kept marking things up. As it went on, they didn't bring boxed to finish the job, so I had to go out and buy them. There wasn't a lot of damage in the move. We've moved a lot of times so the fact that our stuff arrived without much damage is important.

I watched him drop boxes at the end of ...

There were two men that came and moved me. I have furniture that's broken, two items of furniture that's broken. I have a toaster oven that the handle is broken on. The gentlemen stood at the foot of the truck and dropped things. I watched him drop boxes at the end of the ramp. He didn't even bend over and put them on there while the younger man ran up the stairs to the apartment, so I was not happy at all with that.

Worst Service Ever!!!

This was the most stressful move of my life! The movers and their manager were unprofessional and not kind at all. The manager kept calling his employees idiots. They overcharged me and took 2 additional hours to move my belongings. In total, it took them 5 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment and they still didn't get everything! The movers smelled awful, I mean truly awful, like homeless! I felt so bad for them! All I could do was cry after they left! I was so upset and stressed. It was so bad to the point that I had to contact family to help move the rest of our belongings. I will never recommend this company. All I wanted was a smooth transition. Moving is stressful enough, but this was the icing on the cake!

JOB WELL DONE

This was actually a last minute move and for it to be so spur of the moment they did great. I called spoke with the receptionist, she was able to get me an appointment for the following morning. I'd called several other companies and they were all booked. After reserving the appointment I decided to go online and do a little research of the company. As you can see they have horrible reviews so I was completely skeptical. I had a choice, either call back cancel the move, lose my deposit and have to find another way to move out of my apartment. Or go through with appointment and see what happens. Of course I chose the latter. THEY DID GREAT. The men arrived early, they were very professional and they even allowed me to help. I just wanted to put online what a great job they did.

I would rate them a minus 100.

It was terrible ... It was okay up until the end ... My bedroom sets ... They disassembled them but they did not put the mirrors back on the dressers ... They told me that the owner said for them to leave because they had worked an hour over from what they told me. They were the ones who estimated the time ... I would never ever recommend them. They need to get their licenses removed. [The supervisor] would not return my calls ... And the estimate was incorrect. I had to take more money out of the bank.

They were pretty ok

It took almost like 12 hours for us to move. They came at like 4:30 in the evening and by the time they finished it off it was like 4:30 in the morning. I was not expecting it but that how it's suppose to be I guess, I don't know. They were pretty ok. Yes they did [give me a price quote] but that was only the initial estimate, we didn't know [the final price till the end].

They were good, it was a good experince

They were fast and efficient.They didn't stop, they kept going. They were good. Good spirit. (The packing and handling) were very nice and very professional. One guy, I call him 'the Sarge', he had his stuff together, the older guy. He was very good.

The labor was good but I'll never use ...

The movers themselves that did the labor were very good, accurate, safe. The moving company? I'll never use them again. Never. They charged one rate but then at the very last minute they call you the night before and tell you there's going to be more charges. To pick up your flat -screen TV, a certain table, different things, they charge more that could run from $50 to $125. No thanks.

Movers were timely and friendly.

They were on time and they were effective and they did a good job. They were friendly. I have no complaints with them at all. It was probably one of the best moves I've ever had.

They were very good, I have no complaints at all. They were quick, effective and everything got done in a couple hours. So I was very pleased. I would probably recommend them.

They came on time and everything. I guess the punctuality was fine. They did end up breaking two of our chandeliers while moving stuff and we might not end up getting reimbursed by insurance. That's one thing I'm unhappy with. I'm split on it because I'm gonna have to pay for it out of pocket.
