Earth Relocation

Terrible

I would highly discourage people from using Earth Relocation. They are unprofessional and have no sense of time. They provide vague answers and from reading some reviews it seems like they do it on purpose to make a few extra bucks here and there. My shipment has been in their warehouse for 3 weeks waiting delivery but they’re unable to give me a time on when it might arrive. Their answer is “soon”.

Awful,stay away

The worst moving company and awful service. There has been so many issues and none of them were resolved. Following are just some of bits of my experience: 1. Sent a quote,picked up the things and then required to pay 3 times more. suddenly from 1k the price grew to 3k out of blue... 2. I had to deal with 3 different ends for some reason and neither would take responsibility for their poor service,attitude and actions. So,there has been months of trying to reach out some resolution,emails and calls with no results. 3. I moved to a different country and according to the laws of the country a person coming to live here pays no customs. While,the company has been emphasizing that there will for sure be customs to pay and they will help to make them less,moreover,did not provide any information whatsoever of the process and vaguely asked to "provide documents". I kept asking what documents do you need? And the answer was "documents for customs" the only document they asked specifically was an empty excel sheet they sent in that was to be filled with every single item in the shipment and its value. I kept asking do you need my work contract or marriage cert. or visas? And kept receiving answer send in whatever you think we need. This attitude was unacceptable and having received no clear instructions or reasonable list of documents,I had to start emailing and calling customs myself to find out what actual documents are needed. Having done the work myself that I have paid the company to do,but they weren't bothered about it,I finally gathered all the documents that were actually needed,just to note not a single document that the company has mentioned was actually required by the customs. I came to know that the shipment was sent out before all this was taken care of and while they weren't bothered in doing their work it ended up in the customs storage which,unfortunately,applies charges. However,till this day I am not quite sure if that is true,as the customs sheet showed no charges,but the company provided me with some third party bill. 4. Before even the pick up was arranged I have clearly specified that there will be a 10 day period that I will be unavailable to email or pick up phone,I provided the exact dates and asked to please have it arrange either before or after those days. I was hospitalized and undergoing the surgery,however,during these specific days I kept receiving email after email after email. Once I brought up that I asked to not disturb during these days I got the answer " I have not heard this from anyone,no one informed me". 5. After finally clearing the customs I got an email that my shipment is placed in their storage,but they will not deliver it to me as there is no green light for delivery. I have emailed the company asking what is going on and I have gotten a straight up lie for an answer that the shipment was not paid for and they have been trying to contact over and over again with no avail. Ripoff moving company

"Worst moving experience ever" Charged twice as much as they estimated. The shipment was supposed to be delivered within 6-8 weeks but it took them 15 weeks. Almost every piece of furniture including brand new TV was damaged. Total ripoff! Big mistake choosing this company for my move. Be smart and get someone else to do the job.

NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE

I had the worst ever moving experience with Earth Relocation when I moved from USA to India in Aug'14. Initially they were sweet enough to get my business,but then started the actual nightmare. Night before my moving date, at 11.30pm I get to know that I have to pay $450 extra for non-availability of container! I had already agreed to pay close to $9,000(USD) for the transfer of my household goods. I had no choice than to pay as I had already booked my air tickets to India the day after and had no other option to go for any other packers. Once I reached India,I had to follow-up for next 1.5 months just to know where my goods were and NEVER got any convincing answer!Only in 3rd week of Oct'14, I got to know that my goods had just started from USA and would reach India in Dec'14. I had to make several phone calls from India and write numerous mails to Samir and Alok to know the status,but always got inadequate replies. It took more than 3.5 months for my goods to reach India which is normally a 6-8 weeks journey as claimed by the packers. When the goods reached my home in India, saw several items were missing and many furniture were damaged. My 3 wardrobes came apart while unpacking as they had other heavy boxes/cartons filled inside them!! I have NEVER in my life have seen such un-professional packing of goods! Most amazing thing is that the wardrobes were initially packed empty at my residency in USA, but the packers re-packed them at the warehouse with heavy boxes. Result - All 3 wardrobes were broken due to the heavy weight inside them !! When I questioned Earth Relocation about this unusual and unprofessional packing, I am not getting any clear answers. The insurance company is not willing to pay for the damages of my wardrobes as they were not professionally packed. I am now in a situation where I am suffering due to my WRONG choice of movers.e Earth Relocation and their non-committal attitude . Recently during my ongoing Claims process, I got to know that Earth Relocation had altered my already signed insurance forms and had cut-off specific items from the inventory list( the wardrobes being one of them!) while sending the forms to the marine insurance company. This is a clear case of BREACH OF TRUST with me and I have no other option than start a legal procedure against Earth Relocation now. My only advice to everyone is that PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY(Earth Relocation) if you want your goods to reach safe and secure and you don't want to get cheated or pay huge for non-professional services from Earth Relocation!!

Professional

They arrived on time at my place, handled the furniture properly, nothing was damaged and we eventually got things on time, Their efficiency and effectiveness in moving service is hard to find. The result was great and everything is settled without any damage. Not only was the move executed perfectly, but both guys were really friendly and professional.

Great Care

The crew handled my goods with great care and accuracy. It was a perfect move within the allotted time and budget. I am really impressed with everything that they did for me. They did a good job without any damages, it was quick they arrived everything in the truck and left they weren't dragging on time or anything. I want to say big Thank you to you guys.

on time, were friendly and professional, were extra helpful and reliable during the moving. Our cooperation was easy and nice and my moving from Indiana to New Jersey went fine – in 2 weeks it was finalized. My price in the end was really reasonable. my movers were incredible guys who worked hard and moved me in 10 days. I have nothing to complain about – they were hardworking, punctual and reliable and my final price was pretty good too.

My move to DR

Just wanted to thank my move coordinator at Earth Relocation, the goods were received in good order last week and everything went well. The motorcycle for my husband also arrived intact in the wooden crate and your agents in DR did an excellent job of delivery with no issues. Our belongings were very much needed as we have a little one and its tough but full marks to Ms. Huby who arranged everything to perfection and got our goods in a very timely manner. Earth Relocation’s crew packed all our personal effects and furniture with lot of care and also kept all the minute details in mind. I am therefore happy to write this review and recommend their services to other people from my positive experience. Ivana
