HORRIBLE CROOKED NONPROS WHO ...
From lying online to coming to our home in Ms. with a truck too small. Then hiring unprofessionals at our local employment agency who were not bonded or experienced to come into our house and steal whatever they wanted. To writing in indelible ink a 2 letter S (for storage) on my 2 midcentury egg chairs; to leaving with what the rented enterprise truck could hold (not much) then one day out calling us at home and demanding we pay them 3500 more$ or they would not deliver our furniture to Co. They held our furniture hostage in Dallas until they received more money before they continued on their trip. Then finally when my family left Ms and caught up with them in Co and they moved our furniture and belongings into our new home which was a ritzy doorman building downtown denver, The two employees of Freedom Vanlines began to whine and demand very loudly about their pathetic lives and how much they hated the company they worked for and they were not getting paid well and they needed a huge tip.We offered 650$ but that only made them holler louder. We were new to our new home and we had neighbors that they were disturbing but they knew that. We were coerced/blackmailed into giving them 1000$ to make them stop screaming and to leave. Then, later, when we went down to our vehicle, we found my antque 8 lb cast iron "iron" leaning up against our windshield as if to say, "good you paid us what we wanted or else you would no longer have a windshield". It was pure blackmail and what was bizarre was we were nice to them the entire move. These idiots packed steel/iron items with glass dishes and I didn't find out about the 2" S written on my antique egg chairs until almost a year after when I finally found them buried in storage. These were expensive, one of a kind, chairs. The black ink is still there and many of my breakable items are broken including a 200 yr old chinese wedding bed front. They didn't know how to pack! This company is a bunch of crooks. We had gone online, to a site much like this one, hell it could be this one, to find a good quote to our move then we were subcontracted to these inept crooks who told us what we wanted to hear.. If u want advice from experience, then use an old reputable company like ALIED VANLINES. No matter how much money you want to save for a 1000+ mile move, its going to cost you $10,000. So better to use real professional movers rather than halfass movers. I later discovered the 2 movers from Freedom weren't real movers after all. They were from some eastern block country and said they were out of work engineers. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN FREEDOM VANLINES YOU BUNCH OF INEPT CROOKS. Oh and when i finally saw my broken items and the "S" written on my eggs chairs, I call Freedom to file an insurance claim and they refused even tho we paid extra for it. So Im going to be calling the Attorney General and then I will continue to spread the truth around the web in ho Read more
