I only have positive things to say because the experience was exactly what I wanted. The setup and payment process was easy. Sales rep. Natalie was very honest and knowledgeable and also customer personnel in the office were responsive and attentive. The pickup crew was on time, very efficient, friendly and well spoken. I did not have any worries about things being stolen, or broken. They were also very accommodating to the nuances of my street. Dismantled the furniture that needed to be taken apart, and put it back together without questions. They wrapped everything up (EVEN THE TRASH CAN). I advise using them for all moves irrespective of the distance because they are real professionals and one of the best in the business.

Great service and even amazing price

We moved from Florida to the California. The quote given by all other movers was around $3200 - $3500. Guess how much it cost me when I considered using Household Van Lines instead? $1550. Yup, less than half of what at least 4 other movers quoted. These guys are very friendly, awesome group of young and energetic men, all wearing same dress and very professional. This is the 5th time I moved in the US, and believe me, Household Van Lines are by far, I really mean, by far the best. 5 stars without a doubt.

The Epitome of Good Customer Service

I called Household Van Lines on short notice for a move two weeks before Christmas. While all the other companies I called were busy or were on leave, Household Van Lines was able to accommodate me. Even when I had to cancel at the last minute and then call back the next day to get the move appointment again, they were flexible and still had the slot to move my family. The team was courteous, efficient, and careful with our fragile pieces. I have used a lot of moving companies in the past few years, and Household Van Lines was by far the most patient and professional from the first call to the final box. Furthermore, their prices were below the rates of their competition. I give them my highest recommendation.

Gross Underestimate of Household Goods ...

I hired Household Van Lines to pack and move my household goods after talking with at least five moving companies. I read the reviews and it appeared this was a reputable and honest company. I was extremely concerned that the company would not send an agent to my home to assess the amount of goods to be shipped, but was assured by Steve Cample (Agent) they were “professionals” and could assess the amount of my goods. This was my 15th move (prior military and DOD civilian), so I understood the process based on weight, not cubic feet. Once I scheduled a move, the traffic management office always sent an agent to assess the amount of my goods, so no surprises occurred during move day. That wasn’t the case with this company. Other companies sent an agent to my home, but Household Van Lines beat their estimate. After three months of searching, I made the decision to go with them. Concerned with Household Van Lines practices, I spoke with Mr. Cample on numerous occasions between Oct and Nov 2015 to make sure we get the best estimate to preclude any surprises once the move began. I told Mr. Cample “I don’t want any surprises that cost me money during pack and pick up”. He assured me numerous times that he would provide a sound estimate. The week before the move, I called Mr. Cample again and walked through every room in my home to make sure the items were accurately listed on his form. There was no problem listing the obvious items in my home however, assessing the amount of boxes needed to pack my kitchen items, four closets, china hutch, and linen closet was impossible and I expressed my concern with him. Once again, he assured me it would be okay as he determined the number of boxes required. In fact, he added extra cubic feet to cover unexpected overages; his final total was 1107 cubic feet @ $4380.00. When moving day arrived, I got a unpleasant surprise to the tune of 300 cubic feet overage and $1299.24 extra cost making my total $5679.24. That’s a 27% discrepancy in his estimate and painful price for me to pay beyond what I expected. In addition, the moving foreman asked me at the beginning if I wanted them to pack and load everything regardless of whether or not there was an overage. I had no choice but to agree. It’s a helpless feeling and unfair to the customer

Professional movers are always the ...

I recently moved with Household Van Lines and they were very professional and pleasant to work with. There were three people that helped me: Daniel, Marcos, and Paco. All three were very efficient and made my move very seamless. I think we finished the move in 3 or 4 hours and they paid extra care to certain pieces of furniture that I was really worried about. They also helped me take apart my bed frame and put it back together. I have lots of very fragile glass too and they made sure to move it all with extra care. Not one thing of mine was scratched or broken. Definitely would recommend Household Van Lines to all my friends and will use them again next time!!

Impressive movers

Amazing service, from initial phone call and quote to the actual move. Everything was done professionally, courteously, and with great attention to detail. The team who did the move was incredible - James, Jesus, Wilfred, and Daniel made me feel like I didn't have to worry about a thing. My stuff was treated carefully and respectfully; the move was fast and easy. All the guys were nice. If I ever have to move again (which I'd rather not), I would require this same team again so that I never regret moving. Thank you folks.

Moving experts

Household Van Lines was excellent right from the 1st enquiry to leaving us happy in our new home. Their sales representative was very responsive and flexible with moving dates and planning and his team of movers was very professional and friendly. They were very efficient and from arriving at our house to leaving us in our new home (including dismantling and reassembling two beds) were very quick. They were very watchful while unpacking! Breakables, such as glass and photo frames, were very well packed in their special packing materials so that it all arrived in one piece. I would definitely recommend Household Van Lines to take the hassle out of moving.

Moving with them is so easy

I was so pleased with the service I received from Household Van Lines. I was able to get a price quote on the phone. When the crew arrived, the (very polite) leader walked through the invoice with me, including the list of things that could incur an extra charge. I asked him to let me know before he used any of these things, to avoid extra charges, which many movers tend to rack up. They worked fast and were careful with my possessions. The drop off crew was equally efficient and courteous. Overall, working with Household Van Lines was about as pain free as a move can get.

Reasonable price for the great service

I just wanted to leave a quick review and thank Household Van Lines for the great job they did with my move. I will keep it short and sweet, my sales representative Jason was amazing; he explained everything and was very responsive, he gave me a great price and set up my pick up date. He was also very accommodating when I had to change the list of items and the move date. The movers came on time for the pick up as well as the delivery, there were no hidden costs, no damages done to my belongings or missing items. The movers were also very polite and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better move!

Quality service at an affordable price

The movers from Household Vanlines were so skilled and hard working that none of my property got damaged or lost during the entire moving process. Considering their quality of service, I was pleasantly surprised that the cost came below the estimate. I must say it was my best moving experience ever amongst my past eight moves. Moved carefully with no issue

We moved to California with Household Van Lines on Friday. Everything was loaded and delivered as estimated. All our belongings were delivered in the same condition as it was, without any damage. Greg from office kept us updated daily. I would recommend them to anyone doing a move long distance. Price was right, plus you get a great assistance.

Highly recommended

The movers were nice and good. They were as fast as they said they would take. I could tell that they were more careful with my things than previous movers I have used. If you like your things, and you don't want them broken, you should use Household Vanlines. You should also use this company if you are spastic and paranoid like me, because they reassured me and were perfect. I admit it I am a bit neurotic but they took care of my things excellently.

Pleased with the move

Household Vanlines really did an amazing job with my move and my belongings. They came fully prepared to pack up my 2 bedroom home with smiles on their faces. They worked really hard to make sure that my things were protected no matter what. They even made sure that everything was where I wanted in my IL apart. It was a lot smaller than my home but they adjusted to it and arranged everything how and where I wanted it. It was truly a pleasure to move with this company and I will do it again!

I searched about everywhere for movers we could afford. Finally I came across Household Van Lines. I must admit I was doubtful at the beginning as it was hard to believe that affordable moving service does exist. I don't actually know the reason, but their quotes are much cheaper comparing to their competitors. Being honest, I never expected such a world class performance within the budget I had this time. But their sales rep offered me the best price and scheduled the move perfectly and the foreman and his team did wonders while packing and loading and moving. They also handed over all my belongings in one piece and without any damage. These guys are real moving professionals. I would definitely recommend everyone to hire them.

Reliable movers

I decided to use Household Vanlines for my move to Colorado as my parents and my sister have both used them in the past and recommended them to me. I can honestly say that this is a fantastic company and really did take the stress out of my move. Initially I was a bit worried about my furniture being damaged due to my previous moving company scratching quite a few pieces of furniture but Francisco and his team were really careful and wrapped all my furniture in blankets in the back of the van resulting in not a single scratch or mark to be seen on my furniture! I would really recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a moving company for their move. Hopefully I will be moving again next year and will 100% be calling them again.

Consistently perfect

Really content with Household Van Lines, they are the best in the logistics business and are incomparable. I have used their services in the past as well; this was to move some of my daughter's belongings when she moved out of my place. As my previous experience was great I decided not to take the risk and stick to the tried and tested. To be honest I thought they would be a change in service considering my last move was a year before. The outcome was exactly the same as the last move, in other words perfect. We were moving to the country side in a quieter and greener surrounding and wanted to move planned and hassle free. My wife and I never wanted to be hassled in terms of packing stress. The customer service rep was brilliant and she arranged everything as agreed. The move was carried out precisely as agreed and the packing and moving was done in accordance to the specified arrangement. Hassle-free moving

I have done a few moves in the past and I can ensure that Household Van Lines is one of the most professional company that deal with moving and packing. I just got married and had to move to a new apartment. I had some new expensive furniture and valuable stuff, and I was really worried that some of these might get damaged. But, surprisingly there was no damage. All my stuff was intact. These guys are professionals. They brought all the required equipment and worked responsibly. I used many movers over the last 10 years. I have to relocate quite often because of the nature of my job. As a result I have used many moving companies. We hired Household Van Lines to move us on a recommendation of my colleague who hired them and earned a great experience. I had a pretty hard job, moving from two different places into one new apartment. Both of the old condos were on the 2nd floor of two different buildings within walking distance. They were professionals from the beginning. They gave a call before the moving day to confirm the move sites and times. I had some skilled, punctual and well mannered crews as my movers. They worked hard and collected all my belonging from both locations in short time. They wrapped and packed up stuffs from both places. I hired Household Van Lines for a move and that move was a very difficult one. They were assigned to move us from FL to CA. They had to bring the packing materials then pack, move and store all the stuffs at the new location. It was never an easy task to perform plus they had to complete the job within a tight budget and time frame. I was ready to have some delay and mentally prepared to have some broken and damaged things. But I never expected a 100% perfect move, which they were able to manage!! I was simply amazed to see their courage and skills. These movers pulled of an absolute miracle. I have no words to praise them.

Great Experience

I just completed my move with Household Van Lines and had to come here and give them a wonderful review. I was moving my things from FL to VA. Everything from start to finish were awesome, easy and no headaches. Getting an estimate with a flat price was a huge plus for me. My sales rep Ethan made sure I knew my exact cost for the whole move and did not have to fork over extra cash. Staffs are very hard working and they care about the customer. Office staffs, movers, everyone is great. I even talked to a manager once by chance and he was really nice and helped me out, didn't make me feel like I was taking up too much of his time. Great Movers!

Excellent service from a bunch of professional guys! The foreman and the crew worked incredibly hard during an intense days of moving. Always careful and courteous and calm, despite the huge amount of possessions to be moved! Their “can do attitude” made the move very easy and pleasurable. We moved with Household Van Lines just two weeks ago. There was a huge number of wood furniture and household goods which I needed to relocate to our new home safely. My whole family was very anxious for that. On pickup day the crews came on time and started to wrap tape and pack up everything into the boxes. Very cool movers

We couldn't be happier with the services we received from Household Van Lines. The crew moved our 5 bedrooms house a few weeks ago. They hauled heavy furniture and boxes up two floors, being very careful with all our items, and also the walls, the banisters and the floors. They remained pleasant all the time. Though there are many movers but most of those are scams. Every moving company comes with great offers, flashy ads and big promises and at the end they deliver the opposite. They came highly recommended from one of my co workers, who have used them in the past. It was such a pleasure to move with them. The one thing that stood out in my move was the attention to detail when it came to loading and unloading the truck. The only things I wanted was my things to arrive in one piece and they did!
