Look, I get it. I’m just another random reviewer to you. But I beg you to read what I have to say, because this business is hands down, no hyperbole, the worst I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Not just the worst moving company, the worst company. And other reviewers seem to feel the same way. Below is a summary of mine and my partner’s ordeal, followed by the full explanation of our experience. Please at least give the summary a read if Master Moving is even on your radar. - SUMMARY: Movers arrived with truck that was too small, overcharged us $1,500. On phone calls with manager named Ben, he hung up on us mid-sentence twice after threatening to sell our possessions. His behavior genuinely shocked us — he was unprofessional, rude, and arguably cruel. Overall, a horrible person and truly the worst representative from a business with whom we’ve ever interacted. Overcharged $400 after our second of three payments. Later on, our delivery date was pushed back not once but twice. Both times, the representative we called seemed to have no idea who gave us the previous dates. Date pushed back a third time by delivery drivers after they had truck problems. Finally, on day of delivery, 11 days after the original date, ETA was changed several times throughout day, forcing us to sit around from the morning until the late evening. And even after that, drivers were 3 hours late - in their defense, they were very nice guys and worked quickly. A decent number of our items were somewhat damaged, nothing major though. Overall, egregious experience. We will be reporting them to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Please, avoid this company at all costs.
