So happy I hired them

My boyfriend moved to his company provided house 3 months back and then it was my turn to move in with him. He hired Mid Atlantic Van Lines to move his stuff and he suggested I hire them too. Thank god I listened to him. These guys took such good care of me and my properties. Their estimate was fair to be exact and the movers were very capable. They were punctual, efficient, skilled and experienced. They are not your average muscled men working in moving sector to make some cash. These men were professional movers. It is their job and they are bloody good at it. Just watching them packing is a good indication! There were no hiccups anywhere and the move went as smoothly as it could. The final bill came under the original estimate and I was over the moon. Both my boyfriend and I are very grateful to this fantastic moving company.

Creative movers

My last move required creativity and expertise from the movers. I own many unusual collectibles and packing them properly and then transporting them such a long distance could only be handled by professionals who are apt at their jobs. I required for Mid Atlantic Van Lines to be really creative while packing my things as they don’t really fit into the conventional boxes. When the men arrived at my home, they got to work immediately. They were very creative with the packing, using newspapers, cardboard boxes, bubble wraps and plastic sheets. They had trolleys to easily carry large pieces to the vans. Everything was so neatly packed, even the workmanship was fantastic. All my stuffs traveled well. When the delivery was made I was astonished to find out that all the pieces travelled so well without any damage. They charged me the exact amount they quoted despite this move being anything but simple. I couldn’t praise these guys anymore!

Surprisingly skillful

We actually had 4 men and 2 trucks move us and we were VERY pleased. The crew from Mid Atlantic Van Lines was not only professional but was kind as well. We felt as if they were treating our things like they were their own and when I accidentally gasped when finding something I hadn't seen in a long time, their first concern was that they had broken something. I appreciated their concern. I tell you just call and make your move a lot easier!

I hired Mid Atlantic Van Lines for their low quote despite reading some bad reviews about them. Frankly, I was expecting problems and issues given how some people bashed them in their reviews. When the men arrived at my home, I thought they were very professional and well equipped. They took such a short time in packing and loading my stuffs to their vans. All of my breakables were neatly packed and they were extra delicate while handling them. They delivered my valuables right on schedule. I don’t care what others have to say about these guys.

I am rating Mid Atlantic Van Lines at 5 stars as I am convinced it is the best moving company. I booked them to relocate my business of heavy containers last month. Their trucks together with five great guys arrived quite early on time. They did so much more than just the bare minimum. They were throughout friendly and engaging. They were conscientious about their work. They were very eager to see to it that my needs were fully met. Even during the initial booking phases, their manager was very friendly and had all the information required hence completed the booking with one easy call. These guys were exceptionally good movers and my family and I had a great time moving with them. The guys were of great help to us. They helped us pack the remaining items and even offered to offload and unpack at the new place. There are very few movers who would offer such a service and this company are certainly one of them. If anyone ever asks me about movers, I am definitely going to recommend this highly reliable company.

The movers were well prepared for the job and came with plenty of packing materials like boxes, tapes, trolleys, blankets etc. They packed everything skillfully and then loaded them to the van. The whole thing took just over an hour to complete. The delivery was made on time and all my belongings were safe inside the van. My move couldn’t have gone any easier!

I had been hiring a different moving company in the past. They are pretty good but a little expensive. This time they were not available and I opted for Mid Atlantic Van Lines instead. These men made me realize what I was missing out on! Setting up the move with them is as easy as cutting a soft cake. The movers sent from the company were just unbelievable- properly trained and highly organized. It took them a very short time to finish packing and loading everything from my 3-bedroom apartment. They weren’t just fast but also very thorough. Every item was packed with great care. They delivered everything on time in great condition. I don’t think I would be hiring the other company as long as these guys are available!

They provided me a very good service! I would like to thank them for their amazing work. Moving is such a hard task to do, but these guys are so good at it that I didn’t feel the stress at all. They did not mind that I didn’t have a lift and I have heavy furniture. Those were very heavy because they are antiques and also they were very old. They took so much care of my fragile items and glass sculptures! I was amazed to see that they did not damage a thing. They have the best rates and they will give you the move you always wanted. They were very flexible in setting up ...

They were actually flexible in setting up the date for pick up and the delivery was fast. They delivered in the time frame and all the items came back in good condition except for some items that were plastic. And the guys who unloaded did a very good job.

Great experience

Moving is never fun and as an older single woman I was worried I'd be taken advantage of. My experience with Mid Atlantic and the movers was incredibly positive. They were quick,polite,and friendly. Ezra was extremely kind and very responsive when I called with questions. He followed up with me after the move as well. I'd definitely use them again - hopefully I won't ever have to move again!

Smooth Move

Having moved several times, I was a bit concerned and was wondering what this last move was going to be like. It's always difficult to know which company will be the right one. From my initial call,estimate, and follow up call from Mid Atlantic Van Lines confirming my inventory and pickup date, everything was done professionally.On the day of the move, I received a call from the crew that they were on their way which was reassuring. Upon arrival, I met with the lead crew member, went over a few details and then did a tour of the house with the entire crew explaining any necessary instructions. Everyone was courteous, helpful and very efficient. My first impression was how fast things were going and how my belongings were being handled with care. The crew finished faster than I anticipated. They were all fantastic, hard working team! Thank you, guys, you are the best!!!! I would recommend this company to anyone needing a move.

Don't trust them.

They promised everything that I was looking for in a mover and failed to deliver. Most of my stuff arrived a week later than agreed upon. The final piece didn't show up until a month after it was picked up. They weren't good at following up unless it was to make the sale. My boxes were immaculate when they left and arrived beat to heck and covered in I don't know what. My entertainment was lost/found and then shipped damaged. There's more but avoiding the play by play per rules for posting. Awful company that will tell you what you want to hear and when it is too late to go with another mover you'll find out how screwed you are. My quote was $600 less than the end result. The pickup movers even asked for a tip. Highly unprofessional.
