Really BAD Moving Company

The price was fair and the pick up all went well, the supervisor who documented it all was great and professional. After the pick up things went downhill. We were told the items would be moved across the country in January to CA. I even got a Call saying they arrived in Storage in the LA area. Ha. When we went to get them out of storage, one you can never get a voice on the line, they return no messages. We filled out a form with the delivery address, and we waited to hear. We heard on a Friday 11/6 from the people who had our stuff by phone that they were coming the next day to a wrong delivery address. It was not being delivered by the carrier someone else. When I said that we weren't home and they had the wrong address, they said they would come Sunday. I asked if they had the inventory sheet because I didn't have mine, and they never answered. Only 104 of our 114 pieces arrived but we didn't know that till Monday because I had to drive two hours to get the original inventory. These guys had much damage when they took it off the truck. and we lost 10 boxes. Some of the boxes has not stickers so we do not know what boxes are missing. The delivery people left my carpet in my new apartment filthy and tried to get us to sign no claims. My husband wrote we had damages to be documented later. I still can't get this company on the phone. They lied as to how my move was being handled because this delivery truck came from NJ and was a small 1 truck delivery company. I don't know where they stored it everything was filthy. I just cant say how disgusted I am with the whole thing. I would rent a u haul and drive my stuff before I would ever let Plymouth Rock near my stuff again or handle my stuff. One thing, they did recommend a car moving place that did an excellent job. It wasn't them.STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROUP

They didn't estimate properly.

They didn't estimate properly, they just estimated for 300 cu. ft. even though I told them every piece of it. We were not aware that it was going to be 70% over rate and the total came out to 900 cu. ft. which is three times more than they said, which is highly unlikely. I think they intentionally put it at 300 cu. ft.

They charged me more to move ...

During my move I gave my list ... And I got a quote for $980, which is like okay. ...They call me up and they say, "Hey, you know, we have more stuff here than ... what we predicted and we need to charge you more." So I think my total bill was like $1400. And when they came up there was a lot of stuff that was on that list that I did not get. ...There was like 10 boxes that went missing. A kitchen island bar ... My entertainment center for my television, end table, coffee table ... Two lamps. So there were several things that were missing.

NEVER USE PLYMOUTH ROCK MOVERS FOR ...

Plymouth Rock is a scam to it's highest degree! They lie and once they have your merchandise you can never get in touch with anyone anymore. They say they give you a guaranteed price but that's a lie also. They say they guarantee delivery dates but they do not. I had to wait almost a month before my shipment was delivered. It is a horrible business and should be put out of business.

A move from hell.

A move from hell. I don't recommend nobody to ever use the company. They stole my stuff. It's just a move from hell. First of all, it took me a month to get my stuff when they told me it would be here in seven days. I didn't get it until 30 days later. When they got here, they didn't have my TVs, they didn't have some of my boxes. Like I said, it was a move from hell. ... Now you can't get nobody to answer the phones. I'm still trying to see what they're going to do about my TVs and stuff.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

We had to move to Delaware from Illinois due to my job and we were checking out a few movers online, and we came across this company and thought we’ll give it a shot , as they kept calling us for about twice every day. We had very few items to move, a dinning set, a chest of drawers and a few boxes. The first quote they gave us for $1000 which we found reasonable. So we agreed and set all up for pickup on a Saturday afternoon. We flew to Illinois on Friday and set packing on the same day we reached, little did we know we were in for a horrendous nightmare next day. The movers were supposed to pick our stuffs up at 12 noon, but they did not come until after 5p.m. in the evening. To add to the horror we were charged $500 extra since we had one extra box, they said we can carry 14 18”x18” boxes. We had 6 18x18 boxes two 12”x12” boxes and two 20”x20” boxes. We kept fighting and reasoning with them but to vain. We then gave up and agreed to pay the extra 500$. But it did not stop there the night mare continued till Delaware . They said they will be delivering our stuffs within a week, and again after repeated calls they delivered the stuffs after 3 f****ng weeks. and they charged another $400 extra for a BS saying that they were there earlier and no one was available. Which was a complete BS as my husband was home all day. If you don’t want to be robbed off your money and don’t want your move to turn into a nightmare DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY’S SERVICES. Do yourself a favor by hiring a UHAUL.

Increased the price after they arrived.

The pricing, they made the quote or whatever they got, they increased it after once they came. When dropping it at my home, they dropped outside.. they dropped a waiting charge. It took them like one and half hours.. like they charged for one and a half hours and they dropped at the roadside.

Very well

My husband and I moved from Massachusetts to New Jersey and we hired PRVL to do the work. They did everything on time, as we agreed, finished the moving in 5 days, charged us with the price we signed in our contract and collaborated fantastically.

Perfect

The way they worked the whole time and the way they did the moving without a single problem or mistake totally fascinated me. I hired them to help me move me from Connecticut to Massachusetts and I’m glad I picked them. I got moved in 4 days for a wonderful price and the whole moving went good and without stress.

It was horrible, the worst experience ...

No, it was horrible, the worst experience of my life. I filed a complaint because they lost a $2,000 TV, they don't know where it is. And I haven't heard-- they never called me back, so I filed a complaint with somebody. And then they broke my dresser.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Pick up was HORRIBLE. They were 6 hours late. My sister was supposed to meet them at my storage unit in Chicago at the time of pick up but they were late. They then ARRANGED IT WITH MY SISTER, NOT ME, to pick up my STORAGE KEY and move my unit at 9pm!!! They had my sister sign papers and went to my storage unit without anyone present and loaded the truck. Later that evening, I get a picture from the driver in a text message with a bill of $6116.50. My original quote was only for 580 square feet @ $3.50 per square foot. Then they charged me an additional 720 square feet @ $5.25 per square foot. Plus some “packing costs,” which is ridiculous because my whole unit was PACKED! After receiving that via text message I begged the driver not to leave with my stuff! I didn’t agree to those terms and did not sign off on that. I said I could not afford it. Return my stuff now!!! He told me to call customer service the next day. Didn’t return my stuff. I couldn’t believe I was so under bid! Piere went by number of ITEMS. Then they plug it into a computer and tell the square footage! What the heck? If I gave the dimensions of 15x10x10… He could figure out the square footage himself right??? Needless to say I didn’t sleep that night. I called customer service bright and early. I got the run around from person to person all day long. One women told me I could get my stuff unless I paid in full. I said “Heck no I didn’t sign anything agreeing to those terms or any price change. NO ONE WAS THERE TO SUPERVISE THEM!!!!” I called Piere CRYING saying he under quote me. He said I went by the ITEMS you told me. I said “I told you the dimensions of my storage unit and said it was full.” He said “I don’t recall you saying that” and then he got really snappy with me! I called pretty much everyone I could. I got so many run arounds, different prices to drop it all back off, them saying they would only deliver the original 580 square feet then I could pay the rest when I could and they would put it in storage. It was crazy. Finally, after I threatened with a lawyer, they returned some of my stuff to the storage unit and brought ONLY the 580 square feet to New Hampshire. WHICH WASN’T EVEN MY FULL INVENTORY LIST!!!!! Their computer calculations are a SCAM!!! I got NOTHING!!!! I got my couches. Missing cushions! I got TWO OUT OF FOUR chairs to my kitchen table and NO KITCHEN TABLE! I got my 51” Samsung TV WHICH IS BROKEN NOW BECAUSE THEY HIT IT MOVING IT! I didn’t get my daughters bed. I got my bed with NO BOX SPRINGS!!!! I am MISSING A CHAIR TO MY PATIO SET!!! I had 40 medium boxes listed on my inventory list and I got 30!!!! DISHES BROKEN!!! AND THEY WERE ALL WRAPPED!!! ALL THESE THINGS WERE LISTED ON MY LIST!!! I told them to return everything else so I could at least get my big items that was listed on my list and I didn’t even get that. VAN THE DRIVER IS AWFUL!!!! That whole company is AWFUL!!!! Please see my review in full on YELP! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!

Loved it

I moved from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania within five days and recommending them would be the least I can do. I am very happy with my moving outcome that was charged with reasonable and cost-efficient price. I am giving them five stars.

I have got some issues ... I have sent ... an insurance claim because most of my products have got damaged. I've lost some of the products.

Full service for incredible price

PRVL offered me a fantastic deal and provided me with even better service which helped me to move my things from Massachusetts to New Jersey in four days. I have no complaints nor can I even remember if there was a single problem during the moving. My delivery was done without any delays.

Amazing in every possible way

I signed my contract with PRVL and shortly after they begin to work on my packing. All of my personal belongings were safe after the delivery was done. The movers transported the things in three large and new vans, from New Bedford to Richmond, Virginia within five days. It was affordable, easy and laidback. I loved it!

Safe moving

During those five days as long as my moving lasted, my movers from PRVL worked hard and organized. I felt really comfortable knowing that these guys were careful workers would take care of my things. All of things arrived from Indiana to Massachusetts safe and without a single scratch. This is what I call professional moving, and on top of everything it was affordable too.

Scam company

This is scam!!!!! They charged me deposit of $250 and never showed up for pick up. I called customer service and they let me contact the sales rep. Then i called sales rep Pierre, he let me contact customer service. Pierre said he only cared about the sales and others things is not his business. What a scam company. Scam!

Incredibly well organization

Besides their good service and affordable prices, PRVL are incredibly well organized and work systematically, trying to pack your things safe and to deliver them in good shape. They did the same with my moving when they transported my stuff from Marlborough to Long Island. It took them 3 days. It was a great moving.

Easy and cost-efficient

My girlfriend and I moved with them from Massachusetts to Michigan in 5 days and besides the fast delivery we had a wonderful service from the movers in our home. The good communication was a pleasure and their fair prices were cherry on top.

A very good moving

My family moved from Massachusetts to Ohio thanks to PRVL. We had a good, calm and affordable moving that went without problems or poor communication. They did their job, made sure to move us on time and of course were careful enough to move our things without problems.

I recommend them

Just the way I planned and wished, I was moved without major problems and for a reasonable price. PRVL helped me do this and moved me from Indiana to Massachusetts within 2 and half weeks, giving me great service and support during the process.
