The city has a Mediterranean climate, characterized by hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. Most precipitation in the region falls between October and April.

Average daily high temperatures range from 54 degrees in the winter to 95 degrees in the summer, and daily low temperatures range from 39 degrees in the winter to 60 degrees in the summer.

Roseville Neighborhoods

Before moving to any new city, it's important to find out as much as you can about the variety of neighborhoods so you can choose the best one for you and your family. WestPark is a pedestrian-friendly community with beautiful homes and easy access to plenty of nearby restaurants, coffee shops and parks. Registering Your Car

Upon moving to the state of California, you have 20 days to register your vehicle. You will need an Application for Title or Registration signed by all registered owners as they appear on the out of state registration and/or title, your previous registration certificate, and smog and weight certifications if applicable. You will also need to pay the appropriate fees and have your vehicle inspected by the state DMV.

There are several school districts serving the city-- Roseville City School District, which operates 21 pre-K, elementary and middle schools in the city; Eureka Union School District, which serves elementary education throughout Placer County, including East Roseville; and Roseville Joint Union High School District, which oversees five high schools serving students residing in both Roseville and the city of Granite Bay.

For higher education, the city lies in the Sierra Community College district. The school provides certificates and Associate of Arts degree programs. Other schools in the region include Herald College, specializing in business careers; Institute of Technology, with programs focusing on culinary arts, health care, and business; and William Jessup University, a Christian University located in nearby Rocklin.
