Packing bathroom items for moving may feel daunting or easy, depending on its size and the number of different things in it. You'll probably throw out a lot when you pack up your bathroom, but what's left will be very easy to pack and ship.

Gather the necessary materials to pack your bathroom supplies

  • 2-cubic-foot or "small" carton
  • Roll of packing tape
  • Permanent marker

Here are some basic steps to follow when you pack bathroom items for moving:

Sort the bathroom supplies

Before packing bathroom supplies, decide which items you actually want to bring with you. Go through your bathroom shelves, cupboards, and drawers and sort the bathroom supplies and create a bathroom packing list into the following categories:

  • Hair products
  • Toiletries
  • Cosmetics
  • Medicine
  • Shower curtains and towels
  • Cleaning products and other miscellaneous bathroom supplies

Once you have sorted all your bathroom items and decided what you want to move with you, you can start purging unwanted items.

Purge unwanted items

When you're packing bathroom for moving you may find empty bottles or other items that you don't use anymore. Throw them away!
