After a couple months of hitting the books, acing exams and sleepless nights, spring break is welcomed with open arms by all students. A week of fun in the sun (if you're lucky enough to go somewhere) or a week on the couch with Netflix is often well-deserved. It doesn't matter if you're going to Cabo or going to Mom and Dad's--most students think about the same things during spring break.

Where to go?

If you're lucky enough to afford to travel on your spring break, deciding where to go is tough. Do you go somewhere you've never been or do you go somewhere you know you'll enjoy? If you choose somewhere entirely new, is a week enough time to enjoy it? There's so many questions. Don't let yourself get too bogged down in the logistics of planning your vacation--decide on a place and find a few things to enjoy and the rest will fall into place.

"Ugh, I'm going home for break."

OK, so maybe you aren't going anywhere other than home for your spring break--but isn't that better than staying at school? Yes, your parents may have turned your bedroom into a home gym by now, but at least you don't have to worry about buying food while you're on spring break. Right?

Money, money, money.

Whether you're going home or going away, money may be on your mind the entire time you're on spring break. How much you're spending on vacation, how much you've spent while at school, etc. The worries about money are endless. Do yourself a favor and save up some cash so you can enjoy your spring break.

"Maybe I'll bring ALL my winter stuff home."

This is actually a great idea. However, you should keep in mind that if you're flying, you will have to pay for any checked bags. You could ship your items home, but again anything too heavy you'll be paying for. Don't forget that spring break doesn't automatically mean that spring weather is here to stay--be sure to leave a few sweaters behind so you won't freeze when March doesn't actually go out like a lamb.

Now it's time to actually go and enjoy your spring break--and all you actually think is:

Freedom!

You don't really care what you do on your spring break. All you care about is that you're not at school. All the stress is washed away as soon as you leave your last class and instantly your spirits have perked up.
