Can I hire movers to load a 400 lb chiropractic table from its basement location and unload at my office not far away? I have the truck.

Hi, thanks for visiting Movers.com! The move you're inquiring about (relocating a 400 lb. chiropractic table from the basement to your office) is certainly possibly and there are, in fact, movers that can handle this kind of job.

Using small movers

The kind of movers you're looking for are small movers, who specialize in handling moving jobs that fall below the minimum weight requirement of regular moving companies (usually around 2,000 pounds).

Plus, since you already have a truck with which to transport the table, you'll probably only need to use a moving labor service to move the truck from your old location and to your new office location. While we I ca not directly refer you to a specific moving company here, I can point you in the right direction.

To find some movers in your area that can assist you with moving your table, simply visit the front page of Movers.com and fill out our free and easy-to-use quote form at the top of the page. You'll then be contacted by up to 7 moving companies that will provide you with a no-obligation estimate for your move.

Here are some moving tips to consider for next time as well:

  • Always try to book your movers as far in advance as possible. You'll find that you get the best results if you book your movers as soon as you make the decision to move, at least 2 to 3 months prior to when you plan on moving. Trying to book moving labor only a day in advance will leave you with fewer options to choose from, so the earlier you get the ball rolling, the easier your move will be for you.
  • Compare quotes from at least three different moving companies. To get the best deal possible on your move, it's usually best to get estimates from at least three different movers before you make your choice. This will help you to compare the prices and the services offered by each company and will allow you to make the best decision for your move and your budget.
  • Do not be afraid to ask your movers questions. If you have any questions about your particular move or the moving process in general, do not be afraid to ask your movers.
