Hi and thanks for visiting Movers.com for help with moving a playset!

Moving a Playset

Normally when moving a playset for a move from house to house we would suggest to first disassemble the entire playset, however since you only want to move it from one side to another, there is probably no need to disassemble the ENTIRE playset.

We would suggest that you still follow the tips outlined in our guide: How to Move an Outdoor Playset, mainly removing or securing any swings, slides or other pieces that might become too cumbersome during the process before trying to move it.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • If your playset is set in concrete you may need to rent a jackhammer before you can move it.
  • Many manufacturers offer assembly and disassembly services, you may be able to contact them for assistance as well.

Hiring Help

Also, if you don't have enough friends and family members to help you lift the playset you can enlist the help of moving labor to do it for you.

I hope this helps and thanks for visiting Movers.com!
