Hello, and thank you for visiting Movers.com!

If you have just a few heavy items to move, your shipment may require the services of small movers. In the moving industry, most commercial moving companies require a minimum of 2,000 pounds worth of goods to handle your shipment--anything less than that would call for small movers.

To browse and compare quotes from small movers and other reliable moving services to assist you in your relocation, you can fill out our fast and easy quote form. Movers.com will then provide you with quotes from up to seven licensed and professional movers in your area, customized for your move.

Remember, before choosing any moving company for hire,  get an in-home estimate, conduct a thorough background check on the company, and ask them a number of important questions to avoid making a common moving mistake. You should also ask your movers about their DOT number and verify it on the FMCSA website to ensure that they are a reputable company. Don't forget to ask about any extra fees you may be charged, such as costs for stair carries, long carries or packing materials. If you are moving appliances or furniture items, you may be charged extra for any required disassembly and reassembly.

Please remember to stop back to Movers.com after your move and tell us all about your experience by writing a moving review!
