Hello and thanks for visiting Movers.com!

While we can't offer you a specific answer since companies have their own policies, procedures and services, we can offer you information on the different aspects of what you'll be looking for.

Auto Shippers

There are different options for shipping your car when you move. If you are unable to drive the car to your new home yourself an automobile shipping company will surely be able to take care of that for you. The most common ways to transport automobiles is in an open-air trailers, an enclosed trailer or you can use a drive-away service.

  • Open-Air Trailers: Your car is exposed to the elements, bad weather and debris but his service is generally the least expensive method.
  • Enclosed Trailer: Your car will be loaded onto a closed trailer and will be protected from weather and debris from the road. This method is recommended for luxury vehicles, antique or collectible vehicles.
  • Drive-Away Service: Technically, this method isn't a shipping service, but it may be an inexpensive alternative to sending your car in a trailer. Companies provide a driver to pilot your vehicle from the origin to the destination for you.

Moving Companies

For your household items, if you're looking for someone to perform the job from packing the old and unloading into the new, you can fill out a free quote form and you'll recieve information from multiple moving companies in your area. If you only need help loading your items, or just someone to drive the moving truck, you can search for moving labor on this page, and find a company that fits your budget and needs.

Whichever method you choose, it's important to make sure that the company is reputable. Making sure that you're comfortable with the company providing you a service is essential to a smooth relocation experience.
