Can I leave clothing in dresser drawers ?

Hello, and thank you for visiting!

You can often leave your clothing in your dresser drawers when moving. Just be sure to secure the drawers so they don't slide out while moving the dresser! You can do this by wrapping the dresser in a furniture blanket, and then securing it with tape. Take care not let the tape come in direct contact with the dresser's surface--the sticky adhesive could leave behind residue and damage the finish.

While clothing is safe to leave in your dresser drawers, any heavier items or those with sharp edges should be removed. They could rattle around inside the dresser during transit and cause damage or scratches. Anything delicate or fragile should also be taken out and wrapped separately.
