In order to pick up or drive a truck, many truck rentals ask their customers to provide two forms of identification including driver's license and state-issued ID. Along with these forms they require their customer to be 18 years or older (if you're renting a U-Haul or Penske) to rent a truck.
Additional forms you may have to provide at the time of pick up:
- Passport size photograph
- Credit card or debit card number
- Phone contact number to call and verify at the time of rental
- Government-issued ID or the Military ID
- Friends or relative's information
As long as you provide these documents, you can just make a reservation and then go pick up your truck.
