Items You Should Keep With You
Even if they're allowed, it's best not to place these items in your moving container:
- Cash
- Jewelry
- Passports and important documents
- Prescription medications
- Laptops and other valuable electronics
- Family heirlooms and irreplaceable keepsakes
These items are better transported in your personal vehicle so they're easily accessible and less likely to be lost or damaged.
Can You Access Your PODS Container While It's in Storage?
In most cases, yes. If your container is stored at a PODS Storage Center, you can usually schedule access by contacting PODS in advance. Access policies may vary by location, so confirm the details with your local PODS facility.
