A BETTER TRIPP MOVERS COST ME A ...

We hired A Better Tripp several years ago and they lied and cheated us. We asked several times for extra insurance and they lied to us about the process. Secondarily, they promised to bring appropriate materials to pack our fragile and valuable items. They did not and one of the movers brought his out-of-shape wife to pack me up as part of the team. They caused over $30k worth of damage and promised to make good on reimbursing me. Instead, they ran out the clock lying all the way. These are the most UNETHICAL and HORRIBLE people I have ever worked with. Not only did I lose many valuable things in a flood, I then lost more valuable items in the move. They did not even put blankets around my Italian leather couch and ruined it so I had to spend $6k re-doing it. They laughed at me for saying that some of my Pre-Columbian pottery was smashed. I spent a year working with a VERY SPECIALIZED ART AND POTTERY RESTORER IN NEW YORK to fix these figurines. The price tag to fix only three of the broken figurines was $6,800. In all, they broke 40 items - many of the items irreplaceable. I WOULD NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH MY THINGS. They had the nerve to call me crazy when their CONTRACTED (they lied about this, too), third-party mover, not their own moving team as advertised, moved my things. This was a $22k move that ruined $30k worth of my items. The contracted mover, after seeing the devastation of my items, told A Better Tripp that I was crazy. How pathetic that they believed the contractor that damaged my items and not their own customer. Then they lied to me about doing something to resolve this. I know other people who also have had a terrible experience with them. Not only was I victimized once by them lying about having their A-Team pack my things and then damaging them. They re-victimized me by lying about wanting to make this right. They had me call their "insurance" and all they did was not answer our calls to run out the statues of limitations all while saying I am the crazy one. These people are shameless. Read more
