Brian, Martin, Mars are awesome! They finished moving everything in 7 hours and only took an hour lunch break. We have four beds and many heavy boxes with books. They moved everything to places we wanted, including the heavy ping pang tables to upstairs. We highly recommend them! Read more

Unprofessional Nickel

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I worked with Louis, who kept going on and on about how other companies were going to nickel and dime me. After negotiating a price I called a few days before my move to confirm the move and he started to tell me that he quoted me too low. He then went on to tell me that he needed to charge me for a COI. I told him he had promised to nickel and dime at the last minute. He put me on hold for over 5 minutes and his supervisor called on the other line to then inform me that they were down a truck and would not be able to accommodate my move. So, now two days before my move, I am left without movers and scrambling to find new ones. The funny thing, I would have paid for the COI - although after speaking to both of my building managers they said that they never have heard of a company charging for COI. For a company that promised not to nickel and dime me, they tried to, and when I would not budge they basically cancelled my move. Good luck if you do decide to use them. Read more

They were friendly and courteous. They took care to wrap everything to protect it from damage and the rain that was falling. They handled everything requested and did the job in a timely manner. Minus a few small problems they were a ...

I thought they were a good company as far as taking care of things, but they routed them to the wrong place to start out with. They sent him to the place we were moving to ... But they were very good at packing up and getting everything back and very congenial. I guess we had a couple broken things, but other than that I thought they were a good company. Read more

Helpful and more importantly reliable!

These guys are great and total life savers! We had a nightmare experience with Starving Students not showing up on a Sunday afternoon move and being late on Monday morning for their "reschedule." We finally gave up on them and called A One Van Lines who had come highly recommended from my Aunt. They were able to come that day! They were super friendly and put me at ease, came right when they said they would, and moved us quickly and efficiently and didn't break anything. They were out of there in no time and put all of our stuff where we wanted it. They were nice and easy to work with (all of them spoke English!). I'm actually hiring them to move us again because our place didn't work out. Trust me, pay little bit extra and go with someone helpful and more importantly, reliable! Read more

The perfect move

Hands down, the most perfect move.Our last movers had less stuff with the same sized truck and couldn't manage it. They did a bigger move in the same sized truck brilliantly. I couldn't be happier. I think the best part about A One Van Lines is that they're all full-time employees. Most other companies use guys who are like, "hey, I'll take some cash for a bunch of hard labor for one day." A One Van Lines is a family, they all know each other, they all work together excellently. Other movers we've used have always had one or two guys that were the 'new guys' and they sucked. Definitely give them a call

Yup, these guys are very good. We've used them for two moves now and they are both thorough and fair in their pricing. The staff is very friendly and careful. They note existing damage and discuss any changes or updates before they happen. No surprise charges. Our only complaint would be that they are too busy and we had to use another provider that damaged several pieces and were very disorganized. Also, if you need to store your items, they have very reasonable rates for their storage pods. Definitely give them a call. Read more

I love A-1 Moving – Best Movers Ever!!!

My family and I moved from Brooklyn NY to Ft. Lauderdale FL with A-One Moving…we were so nervous, didn’t know what to expect….Tracey, a very pleasant Irish girl, explained everything in detail to me, so patiently explained to me about the packing, the wrapping, and gave us such a precise quote…. we were simply amazed….. I was particularly worried about my baby grand piano, which I had in my family for a very long time, but the way Mark handled it put me in such ease…. Mark the foreman is such a professional and such a hard working boy, was really a pleasure to watch. I completely recommend A-One Moving forever….. These guys are great!!

I'm so glad to have found such a reliable company. A One Van Lines team were attentive and knowledgeable about everything I asked, but most of all they were honest. During my delivery, the driver was a little late but they explained that the last few moves took longer than expected and he was running late. I really appreciated the honesty. Most companies would come up with an excuse and never address their mistake. When my driver got here, he was extremely apologetic. Even though he couldn't control the size of the previous moves and being late was not his fault, he took complete responsibility for the lateness, these guys are great!! Read more

If I move again, I will be using them

I was moving cross country and I needed to move all my furniture from a two bedroom apartment to Las Vegas, NV. I contacted A One Van Lines since they were referred to me by a friend who used them a few times for moves within the city. I was extremely happy with how quickly they were able to pack up my life and get it on the truck. They delivered all my furniture on the day they promised which gave me piece of mind since I was on a tight schedule to start work in NV. I'm an extremely organized person so I knew exactly how many boxes were packed and their contents. Nothing was missing and there were no damages. When I got the final bill, I wasn't surprised by a much larger number than quoted. They quoted me correctly to begin with so I was prepared for the final amount.
