Never Showed Up For The Move

Please do not hire A-1 Onsite Moving and Storage. I had a move scheduled and confirmed three weeks prior to my move. I received a call the day prior confirming the move. The day of the move, no one showed up. I never received a phone call explaining what had happened or a possible reschedule. I called the office and the owner's cell phone several times throughout the day and received no return calls. Five days after my scheduled move, I called the Owner from my work assuming that he was avoiding my calls. He called back stating that he had missed a call from my number. I explained who I was and that I really needed to know why his company did not show up. He said there were several factors. He had to go to the emergency room and his moving truck had broken down. I told him that I just didn't understand why a courtesy call wasn't given. That my home was staged for a move and no one showed up. He said that he had hoped I had called around and found another mover. The owner showed no remorse and definitely offered any apology. Read more
