They were good. They had the equipment, it took a little bit longer than they thought it would take but we have some heavy stuff. But they did a good job. Minimal wall damage from bumping into stuff. The worked hard and they worked fast.

It was a good experience ... they loaded a 26 foot U-Haul truck twice. ...Both loads we got unloaded, there was no damage or anything. The guys packed that truck, every square inch. And they worked just as fast as the friends that I had helping, so I had no issues with them whatsoever. Read more

My husband had Able American confirmed to help move our daughters belonging into cargo trailer on September 23rd @ 8am. This was confirmed 2-3 weeks before date. My husband confirmed date with "Jason" a few days before and told him, we would call again the day before. My husband called Sept. 22 and "Jason" voicebox was full and we were unable to leave message. Tried 7 times more. We went to Dubuque and thought hopefully they would come though and be there the confirmed time of 7:30am-8am. NO ABLE AMERICAN MOVER SHOWED! Tried calling again and voicebox was full. Since we were on a time schedule to move to Des Moines, ourselves and daughter had to move all her belonging from the 2nd floor to the cargo trailers. Myself have spine troubleS, but we had to do this. DO NOT USE THIS UNRELIABLE COMPANY!!! Thank God we didn't pay upfront! Not even "I can't be there" phone call! Read more
