Unprofessional, over charged, ...

All about moving services 190 American Legion Highway, Revere, MA. This company is a fraud and scam and stay away... Few months ago I hired this service for a small job over the phone with a lady, her name is Lisa and she was sound very nice over the phone. I explained to her that I was living alone and I was moving less than 7 miles away. She told me a small job like that requires 2 movers and a truck. I told her that I had a recliner to carry down and I would prefer to have 3 movers and she said the only difference they will do the job quicker. She then said that she will charge me $116.00 per hour plus the truck $105. On December 23, 2019 those 3 movers arrived on time and as soon they arrived, one of those guys Derek who called himself the boss started bitching about the recliner and he said I had to pay him $92.00 extra otherwise he will leave it there and he put me on the phone with a guy name Steve and I explained to him I already talk to Lisa about the recliner and that was the reason I asked for 3 movers and Steve started screaming at me, using "f word". Derek the boss, he is a total "moron" and he was very rude to me for the entire process. He is lazy he stayed in the truck outside , letting the other 2 movers bring my belonging down. They were scanning to make sure they get a lot of times billed to do the small move by almost double the original move estimate. The same move was done before for 3 hours. This time they took 5 hours, plus $105 for the truck, plus an extra $92.00. When they got to my new place it took them at approx. 1hour to unload the truck and between that time their boss called them to go do another job, then they started rushing to finish they left some furniture wrapped, my single bed 1/2 way assembled, a cut on my small bench keyboard. The disappointment part is my $1500.00 recliner, they charged me extra to bring it over remains disabled since then, I don't know what they did with the recliner electric adapter!!!I called the office to talk to Steve about my frustration and I explained him in details what did happen and he said he will call me back next day and he never did. I called him 3 days after and he said he will reimburse me 1 hour, $116.00 which should be credited on my credit card, also at that time he said his movers said the electric adapter should be found on the back of the recliner. I called my son to come over to help me tip the recliner and the cord is not there and it can't recline anymore!!!I placed many phone calls to talk to Steve, some times I spoke with a lady's name Barbara who sounds very nice and she always promised they will reimburse the $116. on March 7,2020 I wrote a letter to Steve and Barbara and they never answered my letter. I finally found him one day and he was very agitated, screaming at me he didn't want to hear about my recliner, using' f'word, claiming he doesn't have any money, he can't reimburse me $116.00. Poor service, damages and lack of ...

Showed up on time to move the piano from the place of purchase. After move was completed, we pointed to them that the surface of piano was damaged. They claimed that the piano was damaged before the move. When shown the pieces of the finish on the floor, they grudgingly accepted the responsibility. In addition, they damaged the floor as well and tried to deny it as well. When the marks on the hardwood floor matched cart they used to move the piano, they grudgingly again accepted responsibility. The photos of the damage were sent to the manager. They promised to pay for repairs. We hired professional company to repair the piano. After months of promising to pay to the repair company, they did not. Extremely dishonest !!! We ended paying for repairs and taking them to court to recoup the losses. By the way, the only positive review about the company was posted by the owner of the company - Barbara M******. No integrity ! Stay away from them as far as possible. Court issued Execution on Money Judgement for $838.47. Their office ignored the order and refuses to pay for damages. Read more

Cordial, quick and honest

They told me they were going to be there in the vicinity of 9:30 and they were right there on time. They were very... cordial and they moved everything in a very quick amount of time as well as making sure that everything was properly cared for and not damaged and I just find they kind of went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the move. There was only 1 thing that was damage and they told me about it but that piece is already damaged, they didn't have to tell me anything and they did. So I thought they were very honest as well. I thought their estimate was in the ball park of the other companies, possibly a little less than the others and they stuck to the price they quoted me. Read more

These movers were awesome!!

I just moved in the middle of February. These movers were awesome!! The were quick and efficient. Very friendly and didn't even flinch at any of my heavy furniture. I thought the hallway in the new house was going to be a major problem getting my king size bed in......they had no problem at all. I had three movers who worked very well together. i moved from dedham to lynn on 12/20/2014. what a great experience!! junior and brians team were ontime, polite, took great care with my belongings and we arrived at the new house with no scratches, dents, or any breakage. Suzanne and company were great.....Junior came to do the estimate and was very knowledgeable. So much so that I asked for Junior to do the job. All About Moving did such an amazing ...

I'm not the review type of gentleman when it comes to writing them! However, All About Moving did such an amazing job that I actually want to write a review for them! From the get go, Susan was great in coordinating the effort of our multi-stop move. Junior, Tony, and a 3rd gentleman's who name escapes me, were awesome. We moved in torrential rain, and they took it all in stride, and helped us every step of the way. Anytime, we asked for help, they were right there. They are also really affordable, and the rates are all inclusive (my sister had a mover that started adding extra charges on the spot, ie. charge for a treadmill, or flat screen, etc). Not a single thing was broken, and they just simply were the best. This is my 2nd time using them. You will not go wrong here if you go with All About Moving. Read more

Very professional and friendly!

They were the least pricey out of all of them, and they had a fixed travel rate which was why I got them in the first place. When I talked to them, they were amicable, and they came on time. Patient and understanding crew

I had a very good experience. They were very flexible - we had couple of problems with the day of our closing. and they had already picked up our stuff, so they were kind of up in the air, like they were changing the time of closing and the time by which we could get into our house. But they were very understanding and patient. I must have called them three different times and we were going to have to move stuff into storage so they found us a storage unit and then e weren't going to do that, we were gonna deliver it to a different address, so they booked the crew to do that. Then we ended up being able to move into the house - so they were very, very flexible and the crew guys were quick and efficient. This was the first time we ever used a mover and it definitely made it so much easier. Pricing was reasonable and the packing was done to my satisfaction. We lost a couple of pieces to our crib. My husband had taken it apart so two of the little pins must have been sticking out of the wood and fell off somewhere along the line. So that wasn't my most favorite thing. They didn't do anything wrong as far as assembling and we were the ones disassembling it. The crew were very hardworking people - four strong guys came and moved every one of our belongings.
