By far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with a company. To start, I was quoted a price of approximately $600, ended up being charged over $1100. I was charged for wrapping materials and the men only wrapped 2 of my items that ended up getting damaged anyways. I was apparently responsible for paying for their lunch break? I moved less than a mile (4 minutes) and it took them 30+ minutes to arrive at location. There was significant damage to my apartment as well as the previous apartment. I understand little scrapes but this is not that. With all that being said; the worst part was actually attempting to file a complaint with their management personnel. When you speak to them, they basically tell you that you’re wrong and there is nothing they can do. I have photo evidence of the damages and lack of care with my belongings. Apparently that is not sufficient enough for them to pursue an investigation as to why my experience was so awful. They got their money they do not care. I will most definitely be pursuing legal action for all the damage caused and fraudulent charges that were based on lies and misrepresentation. Read more

Would NOT Recommend

I will start this review off by saying this is the most unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. The manager of this company, Mike, is incredibly rude, unprofessional, abrasive, and difficult to work with and I honestly do not know how he still has a job here after looking into the other awful reviews about him, which says something about the company as a whole. We had originally set up a time with the corporate office and provided in detail how much stuff that we had and received a quote for $500-600. A few days before the move, I got a call from Mike from the field office to confirm the details of the move and was told between 8-9AM. The day before the move, I called the office to confirm the time with Mike and again, we confirmed between 8-9AM. By 10:30, nobody had showed up and my fiancé had called and mentioned that we were told between 8-9AM. Mike lied and told her that he never said that and what he had instead said was “around 11AM”. By 11:30 nobody had showed up, and I personally called and mentioned the original 8-9AM window, to which Mike then became combative, rude, and defensive before finally admitting he had indeed said 8-9AM in the first place but attributed that to “human error” and the movers would not be there until around 1PM. The movers did not end up coming until well after 3PM. This was inconvenient for us because the building we were moving into did not allow moves after 4PM. I understand the nature of a “human error”, but to provide 2 other false times only for the movers to show up 6 hours late is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the movers told us that the move would cost well over $1500, which is an incredible jump from the original $500-600 quote. We ended up cancelling because we wouldn’t have been able to move into our new building after 4PM anyways, to which we were then told by the mover that we would get our $100 deposit back. One week later, we still did not see that refund, so we called customer service at the corporate office who then transferred us to Mike. When we mentioned that the movers told us we would get our deposit back, he said that the movers didn’t have any authority over that and that he himself would “certainly never refund the deposit”, even after the incredible inconvenience this company has caused us. I then hung up and called the corporate customer service office again and was told that they had no authority over our refund either and we would ultimately have to go through Mike. It’s ridiculous that the corporate office has no authority over something like this, which truly says something about the company itself if someone as unprofessional as Mike is still allowed to work here. I am highly disappointed and will be highly recommending anybody that is considering this company to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You’re better off finding literally any other company. Read more

DANGER. CAUTION. WORST MOVERS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. This was the worst moving and customer experience and continues to be the worse customer experience. Save yourself $915.93 (including $50 tip). It’s not worth the frustration, headache, empty promises and patronizing you will receive from Mike and/or Dan. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and the MA General Attorney's Office and will continue to update both with how poorly they treat their customers. it was horrible.

The move was OK until they got there to give me the bill. What happened was they did not disclose some of the charges to me ahead of time, therefore I wouldn't have hired them if that was the case. They charged me an exorbitant amount; they charged me travel time of an hour and a half when it was supposed to be an hour. They charged me a fuel charge, 10%, but they charged me for fuel when they were parked! They charged me $70 and change for a fuel charge. They were alright

They were OK, I had to do a lot of the moving myself. They were experienced, but they told me if I wanted to go faster than I should help. The pricing was OK, I was well below the minimum, but the price was exactly what they quoted me, however, I'm not sure I would recommend them. Read more

Everything was good.

They did arrive a little late because they got lost or a late start, but once they were there they were fine. They did everything good, bent over backwards to do what they could and get done fast and correct without damaging anything, if that's what you mean they did a good job, I thought anyways. The pricing was about the same as other companies, maybe a little better, but they stuck to the price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone but you don't always get the same guys all the time. Everything was good, I have nothing negative, everything was good. I'd hire them again and I recommend them to my friends and family. The pricing was VERY competitive and they stuck to the price they quoted me. They wrapped everything in quilts and taped it up, they were very careful. Read more

Found a lot of stuff broken

The guys that showed up were there to work at $89 an hour. Found a lot of stuff afterwards broken (TV, vacuum cleaner) and I called them and they said they would replace it. But they didn't tell me it was quo rated and it was a $700 TV and they're going to give me $100. Now I got to go buy a new TV that cost me $800. I'm handicapped and I can't do nothing. I was upset that they didn't tell me all the stuff that was broken. Read more

Everything went well but they weren't ...

Everything went well. I was a little disappointed with the fact that they weren't on schedule. I was very disappointed with that. That was the main thing. We requested it happen early in the morning - it did not occur. They said it wouldn't happened until 2 or 3 o'clock in the afternoon. They didn't come until 5. I had to call several times to double check what was going on. So that pushed my moving back further than I expected. Read more

Overall the move went fine.

The guys who came were really nice. Everything they moved they moved really well. They were supposed to pack my kitchen and move it...after the move was over there was a couple of cabinets and drawers that were never packed. WORST IN 31 MOVES

I scheduled a move over two weeks in advance and paid a deposit only to find out that All My Sons Moving had lost my reservation (but still had my deposit). They were very matter of fact when they acknowledged that they had made a mistake but let me know that not having an available truck was not their problem. When I talked to the area manager, he laughed at my predicament. I filed a complaint with BBB of Rhode Island and All My Son's Moving's response was completely untrue. They said that they had offered to move me a week later at a discount. No, the only offer that they made me and my husband, who is on hospice care, was a refund of our deposit. I saved myself quite a bit of money at ...

There was 2 trucks and 6 guys, everything went smoothly. It was pouring rain but everything went well. We did all our own packing. The gentlemen from the company gave me some good information on where I could save a lot of money by going online and getting the packing boxes. I did and I saved myself quite a bit of money at his suggestion. They came in well under budget and it was a good experience for all. Read more
