I was very dissatisfied. The movers were fantastic, the guys themselves, they were prompt, they showed up in a truck that was big enough. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They did the job quickly but actually I had everything packed up and ready to go. They were nickel and diming me. they charged me for a roll of tape. The actual movers were great, they were on time, the truck was the right size. They were very nice initially when I booked them. The manager, when I paid them. When they arrived they had another contract that was run off. They didn't know how to explain the contract when they got there to move me. I think they charged me more and when I questioned the supervisor about the charges from my new place, I had the guys put him on the phone. He was very rude and yelled at me. Packers had a pile of stuff set aside they were going to steal. Also, I secretly recorded them talking about selling the stuff to buy crack. And you could tell they smoked crack at each break. I called and asked if they did record checks before I ever used the company and they said all employees were 100% upright citizens. They lied! Then the movers showed up. One of them was high as he could be. I asked them to be especially careful of my grandmother's beautiful buffet. Of course, there was a huge scratch when it arrived at the new house. I was not at the new house when they unloaded there, but the security cameras caught them throwing boxes marked "FRAGILE". Many things were broken. The office staff is just as bad. Avoid All My Sons St. Louis

Having them move me was one of the worst experiences in my life. They charged me $1,300 to move one bedroom set, a nightstand, and a coffee table, and some boxes. One of them tried putting tape directly onto furniture with drawers until I complained about it. They moved comically slow, were threatening, took a 15 minute break every 20 minutes, hid in the cab of their truck (and counted that time), threatened me and my daughter, and cursed at her... 14 years old. My experience was bad. I had to call them. They were late to begin with. I had to call them twice to make sure they were coming. They saw a little bit of poop on the carpet and went berserk. "Oh my god, we can't do that. This is not a safe environment." I was supposed to have 26 foot truck, which I had, and three guys. One had a bellyache and couldn't do anything. The other two guys were scroungy. They couldn't pick up an ant. So I'm not happy with them. They ended up going off the job doing nothing. Unprofessional and unaccomadating

Was supposed to be here from 11-2. Did not call, so I called at 3- they said running late will be there by 7pm! Then they called an hour later and said couldn't do it how about 48 hours later? Even threw in a 10% discount! Kept me stringed along all day waiting for them. Ridiculous! Read more

I would never use them again.

They qupted us a price, told us it would take four hours. We hired them, it was a reasonable price. It took them nine hours. They didn't move very fast, they charged us almost double what they quoted us and we had a very heated discussion with the manager at the end of that day and we said we'll never use them again. Someone called a few weeks later asking if they could do anything for us, and he said that the manager had been fired and they would like the opportunity to make it up to us if we ever wanted to move again. I said "No thanks." We paid the bill, we're done with them and we'll never use them again. Read more

It was good. They couldn't come in the morning like they said they would, they said the movers called in sick. The actual movers didn't come to my house until about 3 in the afternoon. That wasn't the end of the world because they had three movers instead of two. It went quicker in the long run. Read more

ABANDONED by All My Sons St. Louis

I hired All My Sons Moving for a for a local move a couple of months in advance. The day before the scheduled move, they called to say we needed to reschedule for a later time/day. Since all of my things were packed this would not work. I had to call multiple times and emphasized the importance of moving at the per-arranged date. The day of the move I was told movers were on their way... They were not. After waiting around for hours, I called and was told they were running late. I got the runaround multiple times that evening. The dispatcher lied and was highly unprofessional. The next day was the same. They said they were on their way in the morning, at 3pm we gave up. Ultimately, All My Sons did not come through. I ended up renting a truck and moved myself the day after what I had scheduled. This company demonstrated poor customer service and ultimately failed to deliver. Read more

Unprofessional and Unreliable

Anyone who is considering using All My Sons,do yourself a favor and hire someone else!We hired them for a small move on Friday Aug. 29,2014.Long story short,after stringing us along for 81/2 hours,they never did show up and the excuse was it was too hot and the guys were too tired! After reading some of the other reviews on these guys,I'm really surprised that they stay in business! We had a pretty bad experience

We had a pretty bad experience. We're still in the process of having claims on damage to the house we moved from, the house we moved to, and broken furniture. The movers tried to get extra cash out of us to complete the job. They quite extensively scratched hardwood floors, they tore vinyl flooring, broke the refrigerator water line, and broke a coffee table, snapped the leg completely off of it. About 2/3 of the way through the move they told us that they needed to get the truck back and were not gonna be able to complete it unless we were willing to pay them cash on the side. I since talked to the owner of the company about it and he was shocked that that had taken place. They left furniture in the backyard of the house we moved out of, we couldn't find a dining room table, a hutch, and a leather chair. When we returned to the other house it was wrapped in blankets and plastic and laid in the backyard in an area you couldn't see it from the house. It was just a bizarre move. Two of the guys were apologizing for the foreman who kept coming up with excuses. We were promised 3 men and only 2 of the men moved. All around it was not a good experience

They were almost 4 hours late in coming. We had several pieces of furniture damaged. All around it was not a good experience. We've moved practically 9 times in our lives and this was the worst by far. We packed everything and we had moved the packed things. They did wrap our furniture but obviously they didn't wrap it well enough. The move took a little bit longer than what they thought but I think that was because we had inexperienced movers. or better yet, hire a reputable firm. We booked a month in advance and called AMS a few days before our scheduled move to confirm. On the day of the move, after we had packed ALL of our belongings, and about an your before they were scheduled to arrive, I got a call that their crew was busy across the river and there was no way they could get to us. I asked what I was supposed to do and he said they would be able to make it the next day. The problem is that we were packed - everything was packed. Horrible nightmarish experience

This has reference to our move which was done on 20th December 2013. When I called to schedule the move, I had clearly explained that ours was a 3 bedroom fully-furnished ranch home with plenty of toys and extra stuff. On 20th December your team of 3 persons came to my home in a truck that was way too small. In fact, I had already transported a U Haul truck full of boxes so I was still optimistic that all my stuff would fit. Your team took almost 3 hours and in this process they moved 2 bed sets including dressers, a TV, Sofa set and Dining set and a handful of boxes to the truck. At this point they said there was no more space in the truck. I managed to convince them to take one additional bed but that still left a bunch of furniture and other stuff back home, thereby causing me to be totally stranded in relation to the rest of the furniture. The progress had been slow from the start and way below my satisfaction but things turned for the worse. On reaching the destination they insisted on and collected the payment for an estimated 7 hours and 15 minutes. They also billed me for charges which they had never mentioned upfront which itself was about 200 dollars. Then basically two of the men did virtually nothing and left all the hard work to one man. Of the two who barely did any work at all, the driver was at least being courteous and polite whereas the other member of the team was insolent and rude. He also stepped over my newly laid mulch and then walked with his dirty shoes all over my carpet making it extremely dirty. I took pictures of this and showed the mess he made to the driver. I cannot imagine any human being making such a mess as this one did. Per agreement your team was supposed to re-assemble all the furniture they had dismantled. They re-assembled nothing. They claimed they did not have a screw driver. I am not sure how your team could arrive at a move location without basic screws for reassembling furniture. The driver claimed their tool set had been stolen which I find completely unacceptable. This third person who messed my entire carpet also used my bathroom without our permission and did not even flush after him. The driver claimed he knew at the very outset that my furniture would not fit into his truck but he did not seem it fit to speak to the management and see if a larger truck could come out or if our move could be rescheduled. Ultimately I ended up with a bill of nearly 1000 dollars and a horribly dirty brand new carpet and with less than half of my stuff was moved. Apart from my carpet, they broke one of our book shelves and caused scratches in several places on the newly painted walls. Overall it was a nightmarish experience for someone who was moving into a new house. Horrible experience

It was a horrible experience with them. They only brought one truck while we needed two trucks. I was told one came from the movers to estimate how much of our stuff needed to be moved and what we require. Nobody came to do that. The movers were slow. They damaged some of the property. They even offered for us to get outside help that is outside of the company and we had to rent a U-Haul ourself. They left some of our stuff out on the lawn. It was just horrible. I didn't hire them because of their exorbitant charges for moving just some heavy furniture only 35 minutes away. They said I had to pay for fuel and packing, which I was not very happy about. I will not be recommending this moving company. Read more

Great service

They showed up on time with all the moving equipment required. They were very professional, careful with our belongings and very hard workers. We paid them a certian amount for a set amount of time and there would be an hourly price for any time over the base quote. We expected them to be 2 hours over the base quote but they worked so fast and hard that they did it in the base amount of time. We've used other moving services in the past and they took their time to strech out the revenue but not these 2 guys, they were absolutly amazing! When we unpacked at the other end of our move there was nothing damaged. We've also used U-hauls service for locating the moving help and we've used them twice and they were poor movers at best. I would recommend this moving company over any one we used in the past! This company was GREAT!!!!! Read more
