HORRIBLE MOVE

I hired Allen and Coles out of Portland Maine their agent was Chad Atherton. The the packing was done on September 17th and 18th then because Allen and Colescouldn't find a driver to transport my belongings to Arizona my belongings sat in their storage until October 22nd. They used no moving blankets for furniture coverage. I have an Ethan Allen bookcase unit that is all scratched and gouged up. The dust that was on and inside of it and the boxes that they packed was unbelievable. They used no moving blankets they just stacked things one on top of the other apparently like with my bookcase unit just put something on top of it a box or whatever and just shoved it back causing the damage. I don't know where they traveled through that dirt and dust would get inside of a box like that. There are still things that I haven't found on top of finding damaged and broken items in boxes that were very poorly wrapped one two pieces of paper at most shattering some porcelain pieces that I had. There is no sign of a floor lamp nor of a very tall antique mirror. On this note when the allied drivers came to deliver my things they weren't sure where my load ended and their next drop off in Las Vegas was so I probably had my belongings go to Las Vegas I still have not found them and I'm afraid that if it when I do they're probably broken. I had three glass bottomed table lamps yet to be found. That is only the tip of the iceberg of this horrible move performed by Allen and Cole's. Chad Atherton was very rude came just short of calling me a liar when he had made a promise to me about the move that he did not carry out and when I brought it up to him he said that he never said that and that he would beg to disagree. I would not recommend Allen and Cole's to move my dog across the street. If you're thinking of hiring them don't. Run and keep on running. find a Company who cares about other people's belongings Allen and Cole's because Chad Atherton and Allen and Cole's do not. Read more
