Our Most Horrific Moving Experience – Beware This was by far the worst moving experience we’ve ever had. We initially received a quote of $1,500 for a small move just 4 hours away, but were shocked when the final bill came to $2,200. Naturally, we called Allied Moving to ask for clarification. When we reached out, Samantha from the dispatching team answered the phone. From the start, her tone was hostile and dismissive, questioning why we were calling again. When we politely asked for a breakdown of the unexpected charges, she became confrontational, yelling that we had requested a “shuttle,” which supposedly explained the extra cost. We explained that we had no idea what a “shuttle” was and simply wanted to understand the charges. Instead of calmly explaining, she raised her voice even more, repeatedly interrupting and yelling over us. When we asked her not to get upset and just help us understand, she screamed, “That’s your f**ing problem!”* and hung up the phone. This wasn’t an isolated incident. The previous day, we had called the same number to ask how long the delivery would take. Samantha, apparently thinking we were someone else, immediately started yelling that it was a 2,200-mile delivery and would take several days. We had to correct her — the move was only 265 miles. To be clear, the movers themselves are part of another company hired by Allied, that is, the crew in the truck. They were professional, courteous, and just doing their job. They handled our belongings with care and were respectful throughout. The issue lies entirely with the dispatching crew, especially Samantha, whose behavior was completely out of line and made an already stressful situation even worse. Her attitude was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unacceptable. It gave the strong impression that she didn’t want to be bothered with customer questions and was trying to avoid doing her job. This experience reflects very poorly on Allied Moving. We strongly advise others to stay away from this company if you want to be treated with respect and professionalism. We felt demeaned, mistreated, and left without any clear answers. Read more

Do not use this company Broker

I signed up with Allied Moving and Storage LLC Ft. Lauderdale. They are a broker and neither Move nor Store anything. They sign you up and hand you off. Both companies will point the finger at each other when things go wrong. ... and they will. Their Binding Estimate was more than 50% off. They refused to return calls after the Actual Mover showed up. AND blocked my email address. The acutal trucking company driver told me he has the same problem with everyone that Allied sends to them. I would not recommend Allied Moving and Storage LLC of Ft. Lauderdale for any reason...
