Always On Call Moving

BEWARE: Do not use this company

Please do not use this company if you want to protect your property and your wallet. I was happy to let the moving crew use my bathroom from the origin location, and unfortunately, one of them stole a very expensive and sentimental item from my bathroom. I know this because I used this item in the morning and left it in my bathroom, since the scope of the move was for the sealed boxes and furniture in the rest of the apartment (I packed and moved the bathroom myself since it was a small amount). For due diligence, I checked all packed goods but it was already clear that my item was stolen considering where I always keep the item and the small amount of goods in the bathroom. The company refuses to compensate me, and they have no control over their own staff. Their staff is in a revolving door, which really shows the lack of trust in their own team. As well, they lowballed us in order to win the business but then extended the move for another day and charged us more and left half of our stuff on the truck. Always On Call Moving was ...

These guys come highly recommended by another well-reviewed moving company on Yelp when the other company couldn't do my move from LA to SF. They were incredibly careful, everything was wrapped up with several layers of blankets and saran wrap and everything arrived in perfect condition. This was no easy task as I moved from a three story townhouse to a four story walk up! Armando and his crew are friendly, honest, fast, and careful, the price is very reasonable. For the most accurate quote, I highly recommend going over an inventory of your stuff with Armando and letting them know the flights of stairs...etc ahead of time. Good Job

I received a quote a few days before my move, and I was pleased they were able to accommodate my schedule with a few days of notice. Antonio and Francisco arrived promptly at 9am and got to work. I had a couch that had to be hoisted down over my 2nd fl balcony, and they also had to remove the glass panes from my window to get the couch into the new apt!! Nevertheless, they moved quick and worked hard on a very hot summer day. They protected everything with Saran wrap and broke down/ rebuilt my furniture quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone. Also Francisco went over the costs at the beginning and the total was what I expected. Good job, guys!! Read more

We were very pleased

We sold our home in Lakewood, CA in June of 2009 and Armando and crew did a very nice job of packing, wrapping and moving all of our furniture & belongings..... We were very pleased with how careful he was, as well as the rest of the crew....Always on Call was recommended by our old neighbors and boy were they right....price was very reasonable and the crew arrived on time and completed the job, just as advertised.
