It was actually pretty good.

Actually it was pretty good. they didn't damage any furniture. They were a little late on delivery, but the load process was pretty efficient. they were late unloading by one day but when they got there they took care of business. But they kept me informed of where everything was at through the whole process. There was a little miscommunication on delivery day, they told me they'd deliver on a Friday and they ended up delivering on a Sunday. But overall it was a pretty good experience. Read more

Initially I paid by credit card, but ...

The experience was not good I can tell you. The thing was I find the ratings and everything to be good. But what happened is when they dropped off my stuff they ask me to give them cash. When I initially booked it I paid it through my credit card some amount. I thought okay, I need to pay by credit card. But the people are asking okay you have talked to the sales person. We want cash...and it was 7 o'clock in the evening there is no bank open how can I pay you. So they waited for 2-3 hours to unload my stuff so that's not a good experience with that company. Great packers and movers, Not great ...

I had to fly back to Houston on the scheduled packing and move out date and had two days before having to go back to Florida for work. They arrived on time and packed my entire place and loaded the truck in 4 hours. I was impressed with how well they packed my stuff and the great care they put into each item. The packers and movers where amazing, hopefully you get Perez. The mover that was there told me it could take up to two weeks to get my belongings shipped to Florida and it actually only took 13 days. Once they arrived in Florida I was surprised to see Perez was one of the movers they sent, unloaded and unpacked, put together all my furniture in 4 hours, again with great care. They even glued one of the legs to my coffee table back together, it was damaged before the move. The only complaint I have is with the sales person. I informed them that is no possible way a tractor trailer could fit at either location, the sales person said no problem. When the movers arrived, they informed me that there is a surcharge to transfer my belongings into a smaller truck. I work on a budget, that is why I was upfront about as much as possible,I didn't want any surprises. I complained that this was not mentioned to me before hand and the mover called the supervisor after the supervisor got on the phone with me, and was not friendly at all, he rectified the situation by stating that they will just send everything in a smaller truck. I fully expected to be up-charged but to my surprise they didn't they charged me the quoted price and everything except for one small glass survived the move. Overall, I would use them again. My advice make sure you give them an accurate inventory, if a tractor trailer can not fit at either location be sure to tell them and make sure the sales person understands that and finally make sure that if the end of the trailer is more than 75ft from the destination location that they know about that too, apparently there's an up-charge for that too. Get what you pay for

I won't say anything bad. I do have some recommendations. They do have a great price for the quote I received. Once the movers showed up they charged me more. Imagine trying to refuse with no option as you have a move out date. I was a hostage to the situation. During the quote I listed in detail all items. Drivers were late, did not have room on their truck and had to finish two days later. I wish I would have bought the upgraded insurance. Many things were lost and damaged. They did not pay out the $/lb in the contract claiming cosmetic damage is not covered. Imagine furniture that has gashes in it. Not covered at full rate due to it just being cosmetic. Also they admitted to losing items on the phone but did not pay for them since I did not personally state it on the delivery receipt. The driver would not wait for me to check every item. It was a good experience. They got there on time, you know they moved all the stuff pretty carefully. It was a fair price and they got it to where we were gonna put it, got it all put up. Nothing was damaged, they were great.

They were wonderful. My mother has a lot of antiques and she was very concerned and everything got here without a scratch on it. We had a lot of glass stuff. So we were real pleased with them. They were very nice guys. Read more

Pricing was double the estimate and ...

It was very very slow. Slow loading. But the crew was fine, they were good. During the packing we had four or five things broken. Little things. And we ended up paying almost double. I would tell people not to use them. Get more qualified movers. They had a temp person who didn't even know how to use a dolly because someone got sick. I had three people and it took 11 hours to load the first load. And then when they unloaded they had a driver that was hurt, so then I had two to unload me. It was one of the worst moves I've ever had. And I've moved 28 times. Read more

The movers themselves were great, but the people I had to deal with on the phone.. I wanted to strangle them. The sales reps lied to me, the day of the move they tried to bump it up by $700. That's kind of ridiculous! Read more

The movers were great

The movers were great but there was a confusion between the sales contract that I had agreed upon and what the movers had been briefed on. They gave me a price quote but by the sales contract not being right, the extra money had to come out of my pocket, which was an additional $800. I wasn't too excited about that but I just wanted to get the move done. The movers themselves, they were a great team. I paid for 8 hours so they tried to adjust as best as they could with taking all of my heavy furniture and trying to get everything done within 8 hours, but naturally we ran over. They stayed for another hour but that wasn't an issue at all. I didn't find anything damaged, everything was pretty squared away and nothing was lost. Read more

The experience was a nightmare, the ...

First, the paperwork they brought did not have duplicate copies so I had to sign a bunch of terms and conditions with no copy of what I was signing. The second thing was that they scratched up a bunch of my things and just told me "you'll have to file a claim" although I had no paperwork showing me how to file a claim. They broke a collectible item, it was an Elvis Presley decanter that I had had for many years. He told me that the claim would be based on the weight of the object, not the value of the object. They scratched up a bunch of my furniture and they charged me $300 or $400 more than they quoted me and would not unlock the van unless I paid it. It was just a series of things that was a nightmare and was the worst mistake I've ever made in my life financially. They even left half of my stuff in the garage and moved things I told them not to move. Read more
