Had problems with the move... And the ...

Had some issues with the move. A broken leg on my dresser, the mattress being dragged (not lifted), a broken picture frame. I was told one of the movers was new, so I understand stuff happens. But the one mover wrote down 'chipped paint on dresser leg' when in fact a large piece of the wooden leg been broken off. But here's a BIG issue... The owner offered no compensation when I told him how the move went, nor an apology. An apology and a give-a-heck attitude would have gone a long way with me. But he was very condescending and. After a long converse, he agreed to mail me a check for $100.00 to compensate for the dresser damage. Then I got followed up with an email containing a contract I was expected to sign stating that I agreed not to express any negativity with any 3rd parties regarding my experience with his company, after which he would pay me the $100.00. Moving from 2 bedroom apartment to 1 ...

Very smooth move! We called several moving companies to get quotes. This company is far superior to all the other companies. Wes was the first point of contact that I had. He helped comfort me and gave and me a detailed estimate 1 month ahead of the move. A few weeks before the move he called to confirm the move...again very professional. Lastly, the day of the move, the movers showed up 10 minutes earlier, very clean and professional. They took the time to talk to us and figure our needs our needs. Then they started their job of wrapping the furniture and packing it with care. It was amazing how smooth it went. I will definitely use them again if we move again! Read more
