Would never recommend this company to ...
When I first was talking with the salesman he was very helpful and from the beginning assured me that all was great with their company. He was always immediately available whenever I called. He seemed to have all the right answers. All was great until the moving day! The night before I learned that the company they had me contact for insurance, would not insure my items because I packed them myself. They do not give you an accurate estimate. It is all guess work. The day of the move, they came in and literally "GUESSED" the size of the load, which was ALOT more than the estimated price. (Their exact words were, "I would guess it's about.... wouldn't you?" The salesman told me that if there were any issues on moving day or with the actual price to call him and they would take care of things. Well, moving day came, and guess what? NO ONE from the sales office could be contacted. So, what are you to do? You have to move your things as it is to late to find another company and you are closing on your house the very next day. So, I paid way more than I was quoted, and my things were shipped uninsured. Including a baby grand piano. (except the 60 cents a lb. or whatever it is). The movers that day were excellent, and they did make sure to wrap all my items and protect them. Now, jump to the other end.... My things did arrive in AZ in just 2 days. I was not there yet, so my daughter was responsible to mark off my things. As things came off the truck, the guys were not telling her the numbers for inventory. One guy wasn't telling her anything. The results.... Missing items!!!!! She informed them that things were missing and they assured her that it must have just not gotten marked off. There were several things missing and not just boxes! How do you just happen to lose 2 huge ladders? and a table, along with several boxes and other things... Long story short, I am still dealing with this company as my items have NOT been found! (oh, they did find one of the ladders!) And no one cares. I have talked to several people within the company, they have all said, "they will all show up at some point, we've never lost anything". They have not been concerned at all about my missing items. To say I am very disappointed with this moving company would be an understatement.

They charged me almost six times more ...
They lied about the pricing, the damaged my furniture, they broke my bed, they damaged my refrigerator, the were horrible. I'm telling you, they just didn't do a good job. They charged me for fuel, they charged me for everything. they quoted me $1200 and when it got out there they charged me $6000. Don't go with them, Run far far away.

It was pretty good.
It was pretty good. They showed up the day they were supposed to show up. I had a little extra stuff, but they were willing to work with me, so the price wouldn't get jacked up or anything. That was really nice. I had it delivered as expected. No unexpected charges which is what I was worried about. The only problem was that it took longer than expected, but otherwise everything was completely reasonable.

It was really good. They were pretty thorough. I know I was talking to a bunch of different companies. You know I was trying to make a decision. And the person I spoke with from that company was quite detailed and walked me through the process. I felt comfortable choosing them. And they stuck to their commitment. They did have a little issue, not at the fault of the actual movers, but due to (I think) some internet issues. But I had to pay in cash at the end, which was not too bad, because they told me in advance.

I was very satisfied with the service ...
Well I don't have any complaints except that it was a little bit more expensive than the estimate. But I guess i figured it would be a little bit and it was more expensive, but they did an excellent job. The guys they sent were really good. The guys who unloaded me were a different group because some kind of accident happened to the team evidently that packed it. So they didn't get to come and unpack it. So that kind of changed it a little because the team that came didn't know where everything went. But I can't really complain, because they did try to do everything like I said and you know how fast moving that gets. So I would say I'm very satisfied with the workers. A little disappointed with the price but nothing was damaged, that is for sure.

My moving experience was great. My estimate was way off. By the time it was all said and done I was like $800-$900 more than what my estimate was ... I have two pieces of damaged furniture.

Before I complain, The loading crew in TX was efficient and did a wonderful job wrapping and preparing my furniture for the move. Lisa King told us our belongings would arrive in 3 to 5 days, it actually arrived 10 days after we were told it had left Houston. Once truck leaves Houston, Best Moving has no idea where it is. Our truck driver, Dennis, kept lying about when he was leaving Denver. He arrived at 10:30 am, had a local crew(nice guys but totally untrained, he hired off of Craig's List). They would have been fine if they had supervision. Driver took a 5 hour nap after arriving, woke up in time to see broken Desk and computer armoire. Armoire was dropped while bringing in, desk was used as unloading platform. Driver said "it happens". He put legs on two dining tables, threw their packing trash, in my driveway and left. Have not been able to get anyone on phone since receiving furniture. Would not recommend because once they have furniture and turn over to truck driver no one knows anything. Truck driver was totally unprofessional. How do you file a claim when you can not get anyone to answer phone. I think they block all of your phone numbers to roll over to full mailbox.

Some of the items were broke, some ...
It wasn't a great experience. They were late picking my belongings and they took an extraordinary amount of time to pack everything. Then upon arrival--everything was put into storage and then after I called it took them another four days to get the property out of storage. Additional costs incurred because of that. Upon delivery some of the items were broke, some were missing. All in all, not a great experience.

Worst Company EVER
Nightmare! The worst experience of my life! USA Moving Group (844) 236-2014 Ext. 1008 sold our job to this company "best moving and storage inc"! They just wanted the job so they gave us the fake quote of 3653$ and then they raised the price to 5800$ on the day of moving. Not only they ripped us! They were rude and they made fake estimation on how many square feet our stuff was and never gave us accurate weight or SQ feet. They raised the price 2200$ they charged us 540$ on the day of delivery for extra carry! the driver said you will either pay me 540$ in cash or I will leave to go to Philadelphia! The drivers called themselves Russian gangsters and at some point he mentioned he has a gun in his truck! During the delivery I was really afraid of my child safety and I was very close to calling 911! I forgot to mention that they didn't deliver my stuff for 36 days! for a month and a half I was sleeping, eating and living on the floor! The operation manager was worse than them! After complaining for extra charges and not delivering my stuff, he had the nerve to yell at me on the phone! Their receptionist was horrible. Her name was Latonya and she was not only rude but also gave us false information! Several times I requested to talk to the manager but she informed me there is no Manager! When finally I had the pleasure of talking to the manager I realized he is worse than the rest of people in that company! On top of all these, They broke my dining table leg, coffee table, Desk and bed and damaged lot more! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GO WITH THEM! I do not know how on earth they are still in business!

I tried to reach the company itself, they would not answer their phone. My son did call them and get a woman on the phone and he was trying to explain to her that, you know, we needed the stuff delivered and she became so angry with him she hung up the phone on him. She was very rude, I was listening to the conversation. When you would call and ask them when they thought the delivery would be you were given a run around. They gave us a phone number, supposedly the driver, which we called and it turned out to be a Busch-Anheuser brewing company in Denver, Colorado. So I would not recommend them to anyone.

Best Moving and Storage is the WORST!
This is the first uncomplimentary review that I've ever written about any company. I realize that people make mistakes but this company is just bizarre! I was living in a 1 bedroom apartment temporarily and had things in a storage unit. The initial quote that I got from Tom was $2832. After taking inventory at the storage unit, I called the company and told the young lady I spoke to that I needed to add ten boxes to my quote. She told me that it would be another $100 which I agreed to. A few days before the scheduled move, someone named Frank called me to review my inventory. I added a 6-ft. ladder, a vacume cleaner and ten more boxes to be safe. My bill suddenly became $3800.! I was getting very nervous but, with just a few days before we had to move, I didn't have time to hire another company. Also, Best Moving had my non-refundable deposit of over $700.00. When the mover showed up, we had him load our things in the apartment first. After that, my husband went with him to the storage unit. At this point, we were informed that our move would now cost $5416.! Ten days ago, our things were delivered 3 days late and in appalling condition. Many items were broken but since I packed the boxes, I cannot put in a claim for the loss. The driver, Tony didn't have any help so he ended up picking up a couple of guys from, I assume, a temp agency. The helpers were very nice but they were not movers and one of the first things that they did was take a chunk out of our living room wall when they brought the sofa in. The driver took several pictures of the damage and told me that someone would call me on Monday about repairing it. That was 7 days ago. I was finally able to talk to a "supervisor" today who told me that they were not responsible for the damage and to put in a claim with my homeowner's insurance! I have NEVER, EVER been treated so badly and so dishonestly by anyone. I would advise everyone to avoid these shysters.

Destroyed items, items held hostage, ...
Best Moving and Storage is the worst moving service I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I hired them to move my ill 72 year old mother's belongings from Fayetteville, AR to Norwalk, CA. My mother's belongings were held "hostage" in Houston for a month before they were finally delivered. Once her belonings arrived at my home, a priceless rolltop desk was destroyed, expensive fans that my mother needed to assist with her breathing were stolen, boxes were ripped open, jewelry was stolen, an entire box antiqued dolls was never delivered, my mother was completely devestated by the condition of her belongings once they were finally delivered. I expected professional services and received nothing but a circus of misery! Three men in a Penske rental truck picked up my mother's belongings 3 days late, on the eve that my mother was flying out of Arkansas, and they did not even attempt to pretend to take care of her things! Then to have my mother wear the same clothing that she carried on the plane for a month because Best Moving and Storage would not deliver, nor even attempt to be courteous enough to give us a delivery date. Then to lie and tells us that they delivered my mother's belongings to a storage unit in Los Angeles, and would not provide a name or telephone number for that unit. This company should have its license revoked and never be allowed to work as a moving company. Ever! The only kind thing I can honestly say about this company, is they are courteous and helpful right up to the moment that they get your money! After that, they were extremely rude, unhelpful, discourteous and downright unprofessional. Again, this company should have its license revoked and never, ever be allowed to open its doors again.
