I just want to share my experience with others and express how amazing my movers were! I received a price to move from Chicago to Aspen of $2499. The pricing was great and definitely within my budget. I booked the movers to pickup on July 1st. They came as planned got right to work and loaded up all my furniture and boxes onto the truck. Oh they did some packing for my dishes and small stuff but I didn't have much left to pack but they were happy to do it! Anyways also they dismantled my bed for me as well. I didn't have to lift a finger! It was so great! They had set a date to deliver for July 5th but they got there sooner and asked if I could accept the delivery sooner. I was very pleased because I could. They delivered the items with care and helped me put everything where it needed to go.

Movers were great!
I called and recieved a flat rate. The price was the best i could find. The movers showed up on time and packed everything up in one day. I needed temporary storage also. I scheduled the movers to bring my items. They came on the day i requested and unloaded everything where i wanted it! All my items were in perfect shape. The move went wonderfully!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE I've moved across the country more times than I can count. And I have never worked with a worse company! Starting with the estimate, after receiving it. I threw out and donated 2 rooms worth of furniture and even then was told at the end of it that my estimate was 500 lbs lesss than what what it should have been. Which after removing 2 rooms of furniture makes 0 sense. When it came to the packers they hired, they literally threw my stuff into boxes until the halfway point and then stuffed the rest with paper, so that they can use more boxes. The movers themselves have broken the glass shelf in my expensive China cabinet. And Blackhawk is now refusing to pay for it or even take the blame even though I paid for extra insurance and the China was in perfect condition when they packed it and it was upon unpacking that I noticed the shattered glass. So logically the issue happened when it was with the movers. I have been trying to settle this issue for months now and they are refusing to work with me. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
