Bank Robbers in Disguise

I hired this company in desperation. My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and I need to move closer to his care facilities. I should have know when they cancelled the day before without notice not to continue with the company. But I allowed a reschedule for the following day. They showed up late, only three movers when I was told four and with a truck too small to move a three bedroom home. I had boxes and tape on hand for their use. They used their own boxes which cost three times what you would pay at the UHaul store. They were slow, sloppy, and careless. I had them for 10 hours and they still went into overtime. I had packed and moved the majority of the household items and had only my larger items and some a couple of closets and one kitchen cabinet to pack. When they finally got to my new home I was told my cost of the move had doubled. They held my things hostage until I paid their ransom. The did not unpack anything just moved everything into the house. I was left with damaged walls throughout. When I unpacked I had so many broken items I literally wept. Most of the boxes they paved were only half full. Remember I had to pay extra for those!!! They scuffed, dented, scraped, or broke my bedroom suite, refrigerator, dining chair, and tables. What a surprise!

My husband called this company and got a quote (estimate) on how much it was going to be for us to be moved. MOVING ESTIMATE 1 Trucks, 3 Men, 4/hrs , $ 79.00 per hour $ 316.00 Travel Time 1/hrs , $ 79.00 per hour $ 79.00 Subtotal: $ 395.00 Other: * FREE Moving Pads $ 0.00 Other: * FREE Cargo Insurance $ 0.00 Other: * FREE Disassembling/Reassembling of Furniture/ 2nd Stop/ Tolls $ 0.00 Subtotal: $ 395.00 Coupon: Deposit - $ 50.00 TOTAL ESTIMATE: $ 345.00 Not to bad, I was figuring a couple hundred dollars more for more time and fuel cost. Boy was I surprised when I saw the final bill, there was another page inserted in that was just my packing supplies! $628 worth of packing supplies that I was not asked if I wanted! $80 for tape, seriously, I have my own packing tape, I had the boxes to cover my 2 mirrors, we had just not gotten time to cover them before they got there. They wrapped everything, we have moved many times and our furniture shows it, it has scratches and dings, not a big deal. I took all the drawer out and already had them at the other house did not need to have the dressers or chest wrapped, seriously? Night tables, again no drawers. Like I said, I was not asked anything about wrapping or putting tape on anything, we had everything we wanted wrapped done, but the mirrors and had the boxes there to do that. When everything was said and done and added up..... total bill..... remember estimate was $345.00 The total cost of everything was $1217.00!!! beware of scam

I have recieved INCOMPLETE services on November 9th 2018. I Do NOT recommend hiring as they didnt advise by their word and charged my account without authorization!! I am a military member and was looking for an affordable moving company. I had to vacate my residence with time constraints with this company in full understanding that I live in a single family home with my husband on mid shift and me being 8 months pregnant. I've provided in detail and took pictures. I thought they would come to do a site survey but assured me they will have everything done and complete in a 9 hour time period. Thinking they had sufficient supplies and help, they became discouraged and tried to carry on as much as they could. At first, I had to meet the movers at the gate (military compound) without proper clearance. I had to persuade the gate guards to please let them through. Long story short, the whole night and move was a disaster! About 30 percent of my house was left undone due to the movers not having enough material and a truck to fit all the items. Countless items were broken and missing. (They didnt even provide me an inventory sheet to tell them of this). I signed one contract and was railroaded by the movers that they needed to be paid more. I asked to speak to the manager as this wasn't discussed in the original contract. When they thought they completed the job. I woke up a couple hours later with 3 UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES on my account! I contacted them of this and how we did not agree on things outside the contract. They promised to finish the job and send an inventory sheet to which they never provided. I was left high and dry and had to scramble for help from our neighbors to complete the job. This was a nightmare and I ask people to please beware! A single person may benefit but a nice sized family home, please look to another company. The 3 men helping did do a decent job but was recieved by thier poor management of expectations. Dishonest

Please read and avoid Budget Moving and Storage no matter what. A friend of mine contacted these scammers to help me with my move. My friend forwarded all email communications between himself and these liars, from price quotes, to receipt of him paying a $50 deposit. Martin told my friend his card that was used to pay the deposit would be charged to pay for the move. I even called these thieves to confirm that his card would be charged for the move, especially since my friend would not physically be there, and was assured it was fine. On the day of the move, movers were hours late. They later went to the wrong address for the "to" address. When they finally made their way to the correct address, they refused to unload my belongings into my new home until payment was made first. How do you expect payment for a job that hasn't been completed? I wanted to call the police on them but it was at night, my children and I had been up very early that morning and they were exhausted. For the comfort of my children, I told them to go ahead and process the payment with my friend's card that was already on the system. The same card used to make the deposit. Same card we were told would be charged without my friend physically being present since they already had the card on their system from the deposit that was made. These scammers refused to process his card saying the needed a physical card to do so. Then I saw how much the total was - over double the price quoted! Almost $1000 after the $50 deposit. I called my friend who spoke with those aggressive monsters and they still refused to charge his card. I ended up being forced to pay with my own card so they could start bringing our items into the house. After they left, one by one I discovered damages done to my new, freshly painted walls and damages to my vacuum, my tv stand. They also had the metal bedframes turned facing the wrong way, so we sometimes bump our legs against it. Oh, I also discovered my shovel left in the vanity bathroom. I guess after holding my stuff hostage and forcing payment before finishing the job, they figured they could do whatever they wanted at that point. I reported these damages and was directed to their insurance. They just sent me a letter to pay me $18 for dents, stains on my newly painted walls, missing critical pieces for my vacuum and tv stand. The letter also stated inspecting items before signing but how could I inspect anything when they refused to unload the truck before processing payment? Please do not use this company no matter how tempting the low price. They will lie to you and lure you in, then charge more and try to force you to pay before finishing the job. If you're price conscious, you may as well hire cheaper labor from guys hanging around hardware stores who are looking for work. Read more

They are beyond excellent. The owner and the manager are beyond excellent too! We lived 2.5 hours away from the house we moved into. They arrived at 7 am and didn't finish till right before midnight. Don't look anywhere else for help moving! With all the stress from moving, these guys are a Godsend. They are really friendly and professional. They work quick and the services are reasonably priced. He goes above and beyond in his customer service, they wrapped everything up so nothing was damaged and did not mind having to go up stairs because the elevator was busted.
