Valuable items lost or stolen

Our items were in storage before they were delivered. We did NOT receive many of them. Valuable items such as: 2 expensive men's winter jackets (Woolrich and LLBean), a box of valuable vinyl record albums (about 50-75), antiques, our wedding album as well as our children's , our diplomas and other family valuables. Pat Sr swore we had everything that was ours ( we returned what wasn't ours), then offered a hundred dollars. When I said that wasn't enough, Pat Sr said he would call me back-I'M STILL WAITING. —PLEASE READ TO SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF— Terrible experience with all services from this company... Employed them to move me to my new home and let me just say that what you see on their website that leads you to assume a professional and courteous experience is nothing more then a dream... the crew that was sent to move me were a poor representation of the service advertised... My personal results were damaged furniture, damaged stairwell and walls in my apartment, muddy carpets, damaged walls at my new home, and then the best is to add insult to injury when I noticed one worker lingering in my master bedroom I went up to check and I literally caught him shopping in my wife’s jewelry box... his supervisor came up behind me and quickly ushered him outside before I could demand a search of his pockets but many items - most with sentimental value vanished .... and alarmingly the supervisor/man in charge seemed to be an accomplice or at least aware that it was probable his coworker was stealing from me....the supervisor had me engaged in a conversation in my entryway while the thief needed to us the bathroom in my mastersuite when there is 3 more convenient restrooms to use...and when I excused myself to go upstairs he practically ran me over to get there first.. I had the supervisor document all the incidents on my bill that we both signed, also insisted that he call his superior who I spoke to and explained my unhappiness... she assured me that Patrick Cadden himself would call me and make it right... his way to make it right was to send a furniture repairman with 4 colored wax sticks and some arosoll to coverup the excessive damage... actually laughable ... So when I received the invoice I was shocked that not only was I charged in full but more then my original quote.... I didn’t pay obviously... Pat Cadden personally called me and in summery tried to get me to be a good sport and pay the outstanding balance... to which my response was: “if you don’t walk away from this invoice and never constant me again I will be sending you a bill for all the money you owe me for the damage you’ve caused” to which he obliged and I felt at this point I was an unlucky customer of a great local family owned company who just caught them on their worst day BUT BOY WAS I WRONG.... So as all new homeowners do I ordered some new furniture... guess who the deliver company the vender chooses CADDEN MOVERS .... lmao.... so I figure well maybe this time I will get the actual advertised Cadden experience ... boy was I wrong... the item shipped was a credenza/tv stand... first one damaged and returned to vender Second one damaged and returned to vender... this time the box looked like a pack of gorillas used it to play catch in the warehouse—- terrible Third one... yes third one.. lmao ..... damaged vendor (Wayfair) tells me to dispose of the piece on my own and don’t return because caddens is killing them with Read more
